But her powers work with Voidlight. So a big question is, could a Listener Edgedancer/Truthwatcher (Rlain...) using Voidlight use Regrowth? Or how does the type of Light interact with the mechanism of the surge? A similar question would come up with a Listener Windrunner with Adhesion.

Rlain would have to let a voidspren into his gemheart and have his spren trap it there in order to use voidlight, this is why venli can use voidlight.

Unclear whether he would have to adopt the form of a regal or another form of power as well.

But yeah I like this question though I have zero theories about it right now

Rlain stood to Unite Singers and Humans, Dalinar stood to Unite humanity, who does Navani stand to unite? What bonds is she needed to forge?

Spren and humans, navani and the siblings bond will be about (among other things I'm sure) a way for science to advance on roshar in a way that is agreeable to both.

A sort of obtuse support of this is that the sibling is a being of both honor and cultivation, adhesion and progression, bonds and growth.

My mind ran away from me while making this post but I think the gist of what I mean is there lol

I agree that Kelsier is likely a Dawnshard, but I don't think that Preservation was the Dawnshard before him, just because I don't feel like Shards would also be able to be Dawnshards at the same time. However, there must be a reason why Preservation was able to give a Command like a Dawnshard would have. I think that, to be able to do this, Preservation might have been "holding on" to the Dawnshard, similarly to the mural under Akinah.

I think perhaps preservation may have been able to hold a dawnshard around the time kelsier died, he had already separated most of the shards power from himself (the mists, ruin's prison) so by that point he was more like a splinter of preservation than preservation himself.

Big question:  if Raboniel could possibly corrupt or un-make the Sibling using Voidlight, could Radiants restore the unmade with Stormlight/Towerlight/Lifelight? How would you keep an unmade around to do it? The Sibling was attached to Urithiru so there was a conduit. Are there similar conduits to other unmade (lost Dawncitiy ruins?) or could it happen while trapped in a gem?

I would bet it would require an experienced and powered up Bondsmith. C'mon Dalinar or Navani!

Imo the reason raboniel was able to unmake the sibling was because the sibling had manifested themself into the physical realm in the same manner that ancient fabrials like soulcasters were created (physical manifestations of spren). So I think for someone of lower than shard level power to "remake" (deunmake?) one of the unmade it would have to have physically manifested first.

That made me think however. We have seen that the suppresion essentially blocks the powering of surges with Stormlight (Lift is doing it with Lifelight and  Venli with Voidlight). So why were the radiants knocked out? Most of them weren't using Stormlight at the time of the first supression so what made them unable to retain consciousness? How this works exactly? If you have access to Stormlight but not too much you get knocked out?

At first I figured it was either a separate effect contained within the anti-light mechanism or that the way it blocked access to stormlight was simply a shock to the system of an honor-invested creature but idk.

Would someone wielding the windrunner honorblade have access to gravitation? If that's the case would it be due to the unique way honorblades grant access to surges or simply because the honorblade is so highly invested?

  6. I figure he will either be an example of the idea that "you're never too far gone for redemption" or he'll be directly involved with one of kal's future oaths like "you can't help someone that absolutely rejects your help".

I think there is a good chance he'll die and return (due to Odium's investment), showing us that Fused and Heralds are essentially the same thing. If Todium turns upon the Fused at some point, perhaps due to needing to sever his connection to Roshar (he didn't bring anyone with him from previous shard-wrecking campaigns from what we know),  then maybe Vyre will be our viewpoint into that: feelings of betrayal, fury and perhaps relief that it's finally over. I think we'll see him go to Damnation before that, though. We know the Heralds didn't like it one bit there - but what's it like for the other side? And many readers have wanted him to 'go to hell', so actually letting readers experience that in a very literal sense would be an interesting twist. Maybe he'll bump into some unexpected faces on Braize.

Oh big fan of this idea I hadn't even considered the idea of him becoming a cognitive shadow or him literally going to hell by being trapped on braize.

One thing though is that there's a big distinction between the heralds and the fused in that the fused require an existing corporeal body upon returning to roshar whereas the heralds seem to be able to manifest a body for themselves so I wonder how that would work for vyre

Hey, wasn't there a character called Tathindweth or something like that in the Wax & Wayne series? I can't find the reference now.

Tathingdwel is a city that steris brings up at one point, while I can't remember any terris names extremely similar to axindweth some of them have similar phonemes (tindwyl, tathingdwen).

It would be interesting if Sazed or now Harmony may have attempted to speed up what happens on Roshar and used Axindweth in his place.

I'm pretty convinced axindweth is a terriswoman but I'd be surprised if she was sent by sazed, tricking a nation that sacrificed everything for their freedom into stepping back into chains does not seem like harmony's style.
