In Navani's anit-light production the stormlight is hanging in the air for a while. I thought with just an alumnium container once you've drawn out the light you would be able to prevent it escaping/dissipating. With forming the god metal I imagine intent would be important similar to the production of anti-light.

people are attached to all 3 realms so they can transition between them. I'm guessing the radiant spren don't normally exist in the physical realm at all so they have to move part of themselves over there to manifest.

I've been listening to the audiobooks recently and was trying to think of ways they could make stormilight into it's liquid or solid form. I was thinking they could use the honor tone to draw the light into an aluminium container. They then play the anti-tone from all side to concentrate the stormlight into one spot and hopefully forcing it into another state with the pressure from the anti-tone. If I remember rightly the anti tone repels normal stormlight. What do you think?

I did think about whether the anti tones could be used to condense light into the relevant god metal. Maybe by repelling the light on all side using the anti tone to condese it.

So the next innovation they need for the war is amazing speaker systems?!

With different rythms would you be able to get the stormlight to produce other effects similar to the surges? What they show in the fields seems similar to the edgedancers growth. Could you find a rhythm that affects regrowth or gravitation? I think there will probably more to it to remove the Connection between the shard and the investiture. Maybe seal the vacuum tube in an aluminium chamber whilst trying to atune it to a different rhythm.

You could also potentially use a lightweaver to create the tone. I'm also wondering how the tone could be used when fighting the fused.

My impression was that Navani was blanking the investiture and then using a gem and the tone to then set it to a certain type. If that's the case they could potentially turn it to any investiture using the right tone.

After reading the scene where Navani creates the anit-voidlight I started wondering if the same technique could be used to convert investiture between different type (eg. stormlight to breaths). It would depend I think on whether the other forms of investiture have tones or whether that is a specific interaction on Roshar. Also wondered how using investiture in space would be affected. What do you think?
