I think is clear that those were not enough.

It seems odd to me. Nothing gamechanger, but odd nontheless. 

I, as many here, were wondering how Cord managed to find enough Stormlight infused gemstones to power up the armor.

Could she "talk" or "ask" the sprens to infuse gemstones on their own will?
