Theory time:) -Stormfather is a sliver of Honor and the biggest piece of honor shard on Roshar - Dalinar bonded to Stormdad and this him unique bonsmith (Stormdad always awe at what Dalinar can do with his abilities) - what other big pieces of Honor do we know? Honorblades - what if Dalinar bonded almost every blade and they together with the stormdad sliver will be enough for Dalinar to ascend If i'm right Dalinar will have a "got you" moment on Tod when he becomes practically immortal and the killing part is the main clause of their agreement. it will be a nice ending for first five and Tod will be forced to find another loophole for the book 6

just got the wild thought that this gem contains Ba-Ado-Mishram and Sibling (or parts of 'em). As I recall correctly you should give something interesting for the spren to get him in the gem (Dalinar catch thrill with his emotions\memories). What if the ancient Bondsmith lure Bao with his god spren somehow. Also Bao's "connection" thing make me thing that knowing more about her abilities will help to restore connection with the deadeyes

It's also mentioned that this contest will delay odium for some time. So i believe it's our midfinale and the source of timeskip. And i bet that Kal vs Moash will happen in RoW as the climax of Kal's development for this book. So any other candidate for Odium's champ. p.s. think that Odium's final defeat will be connected to his promise not to hurt anyone fron Taravingina's city

i've always thought that the 5 will end up with the contest of champions that will give protagonists some time and in the 6 the odium will return. The 10 will end up with Odium's shattering or something like that. also i think that by the end of the 5 either Seth or Dalinar will become a Honor vessel. The most likely from my point of view is Dalinar - vessel, Szeth his champion.
