  1. "Oh. Um, thanks?" The man awkwardly smiled, about to say something further, but the landscape had started morphing again. All concept of space completely left, and (Sorry for the godmod) Fox found herself seemingly possessing a body, seeing from it's eyes, moving with it's feet, hands, fingers, and... wings. Korin was there too, also possessing the body. And three others. Fox, this is Korin. It seems we are travelling again. The body that the five possessed started.. battling? More like slaughtering. Impossibly fast, it weaved between and under the blades of five guards, picking them off one by one. Well look at that, he's... hold up, who else is here? I feel someone else. No, it's not you, Mordred. -an unknown voice Aw, that's what I was just thinking! -a different unknown voice You two, be quiet! -this was Korin's voice. Congratulations, Winter. The Fox hasn't gone insane yet because of you! Come on, don't ignore me. It was a joke. I'm too busy for jokes, can't you see. Please, be quiet you two, I don't want to have to keep both of you locked up in separate mountain prisons so you stop thinking about each other.. Da(rn) it Winter, behind you! -Korin's voice again I can sense it. -Winter The body the Fox occupied turned suddenly, catching a blade in it's metallic hand, spinning it, then running it through the guard. So where are you going today? -Korin's voice Betrayal. -Winter's voice Ah, I see. The Fox seems to be holding up. You doing fine? asked Korin's voice directed at Fox
  2. Korin gently laughs again. (that's his favorite thing to do) "I suppose I could try to explain. Let's see, I was born with a twin, my sister, but it's a bit more complicated than that. We hared an essence, we were always together, one or the other. In life, we could either materialize as my form, or hers. This was an oddity were we come from, I'm sure it is anywhere one could travel, so it's all kept rather hush-hush, you know? Surprisingly, my sister and I had such unity, our shared essence was never a problem. Until our house was invaded." Korin sighs, a distant look in his eyes. "I was philosophizing, letting Kor (my sister) drive, when a group of... people? came and slaughtered the household. I forced Kor to run away, and she's been broken ever since. Her mind is silent." He sighs again, biting the inside of his bottom lip.
  3. Korin smiles. "Well, I'm a partial philosopher." he says, glad to change the subject. "Apparently, our house didn't need one of those, so I mainly studied war strategy and kept philosophy as a hobby." "My life is a little more.. complicated, I'm not sure you want to hear about it all."
  4. The man awkwardly walked over. "Um, yes I suppose I am stuck here too. And I can't really help seeing your thoughts." He (even more awkwardly) knelt next to her and patted her back, not sure what to do. "It's not that bad. You don't have to worry anymore, please don't cry."
  5. "Who's doing this? That would be the white death, I suppose. You look like you would like to rip every limb off me." The man grimaced again. "I will explain to the extent of my knowledge; you, and I, were thrown into The White Death's reality, for easy access, I suppose. I'm not exactly sure, all I know is I was placed here to... welcome you? Make you feel somewhat welcome? I'm not exactly sure either. I can see your thoughts, mind you. I see that you really do want to channel your anger at me. Again, please refrain from doing so." He spread his arms in innocence.
  6. "I apologize, it's not me doing this. Please don't attempt to stab me, it is rather unpleasant." He grimaced.
  7. "Whoa, there. There's no need for that. I'm..." The landscape started changing again, this time all concept of space left. Everything was everything, all of a sudden. Then it was back to normal, but this time the landscape was an endless field of low grey stone hills, a thin clear stream running through them. Korin was standing a safe distance away from The Fox "It appears we traveled."
  8. "Hm. We're here because this is... where we are? I'm not exactly sure myself. Let's see..." The landscape around them changed to a dim alleyway, trash drifted up against the sides. Then the land melted back to the peaceful meadow/cliff landscape. "I guess that's where we are. About me, let's see. I was raised in the northeaster kingdom 'k'raiji with my sister, Kor. I decided to take the route of philosophy, although I was my house's strategist. Korin Ark at your service." He inclined his head.
  9. "Ah. The Fox. That is a... clever sounding name." The man gently laughed again. "Unfortunately, this is not a dream. And I beg you not to jump off the cliff. Retrieving you would be... awkward."
  10. The man gently laughs. "I'm called Korin. I don't recall seeing you before, either."
  11. Someone sat down next to her, letting his legs dangle off the side of the cliff, too. He had white hair and brown eyes, and wore a thick-collared black tunic, laced with gold that tapered to his knees. The sleeves reached just past his elbows, and he wore black breeches and boots. "You are killing the poor grass. It doesn't matter, though. This isn't real."
  12. She appears sitting in a row of benches in a church-castle, four stories up. In front of her are two large stained-glass windows, and to either side are normal, medieval-style ones. Below, and to the left, after a few meters is a forest. To the right, several meters away is a cliff, a straight drop to the ocean. In front of the church-castle, a short distance away is another cliff, this one higher, which also leads straight down to the ocean. The church-castle is built on a slant,--the building itself is not slanted, but it is built on a slant--the top of which is the cliff in front, and it leads down for about a kilometer to a sandy beach. running behind the beach is a narrow stretch of meadow, behind it the woods take over. @Scarletfox
  13. Winter's eyes burn; for a split second, his body becomes that of Mordred, then it is back. "Never speak of this blasphemy to me." he said, his voice deathly quiet and calm. There was a flash, and Winter's mindscape evaporated. Fadran was left sitting on a black rock (or wherever the party's at). Winter was gone. This was no mindscape, this was reality. Winter had left.
  14. The mindscape transforms again, and now Fadran is sitting in the top floor of the church-castle, Winter standing opposite him. In the front of the room, a young girl is looking out the window at the ocean far below. "I am interested in what you have to say."
  15. "What do you know? Saying things like that, when in reality existence is pointless. You didn't need to have followed me, yet you did." The angel sighs. "I suppose I should just kill you now."
  16. Winter's mindscape transforms. Everything is everywhere, nothing is everywhere, everything is nothing yet the same thing. The mindscape transformed again, this time the church-castle in a small meadow on a cliff side, the ocean crashing below. Winter stands facing Fadran. Nath is nowhere to be seen.
  17. There is no space in Winter's mind. "'We' are not done? As far as I'm concerned, I'm done with you."
  18. Winter smiles, another of his cold, cruel smiles. "I apologize, but I guess you will have to live with a broken conscience." Four figures seemed to surround the group, made from mist. But they disappeared almost as soon as they came. Then Fox and Winter were gone.
