Several dozen heavily armed men, clad from head to toe tactical gear that was colored in a pattern similar to the ground surrounded them, had backed away from the cave entrance until they were over a hundred meters away. Far behind the men, barely visible on the horizon, one could see a groups dotting the area, creating a parameter around the area that the cave was in. Then, just as the men were stopping their backward movement and settling in to the area in a defensive formation, a low rumbling could be heard in the distance, the only reason that it stood out from the regular ambiance is that it grew in volume and intensity, getting louder slowly at first, but with each passing second it intensified quicker. Soon the very rocks and ground began to tremble, as several pinpricks on the horizon came into greater detail to reveal twelve aircraft speeding through the air towards the cave. 

At the sound of the aircraft, Jaxothe starts to walk a good deal faster, looking behind himself worriedly.

"That's what I'm wondering as well! But for now, I'm using this," she says, waggling the feather, "to find the first Artifact." She grabs one of the empty shot glasses setting it in front of her and scooping a small amount of her cauldron mud out from the pit using her fingers and plops it into the glass. She then takes the feather and dips it in, a quiet pop ringing out as it dissolves and disappears. 

The mud then begins to slide over the bottom of the glass, clinging to the side and assumedly pointing towards the Artifact.

"Well, I don't know about what happened to him," Grace nodded to Xinoehp, "but something was able to bind your power as a Narrator. The person we are tracking is a Narrator; ergo, it would be useful to have the capacity to bind their abilities in a likewise manner. Not to mention that your perspective as a Narrator is sure to differ from my own, and may provide key insights towards tracking our suspect down."
