I was reading through WoR recently and noticed this book. I was wondering why Jasnah gave the book to Shallan, and if it would have any relevance in the future. From what I can tell, there is very limited information on it so far.

Out of the main characters, I would definitely go with Dalinar. His chapters always felt like a slog to read, even when he was doing interesting things.

I've always heard him as a kind of buzzing sound, or sometimes a vibration.

I think this is an important point to bring up. Regardless of whether that was a good option or not, Venli went against pretty much what every other listener wanted. The option of putting more people into Stormform was always there, instead of converting everyone right away.
