"You can't be everything." Queen laughed, inconspicuously shifting her position so that Ayia couldn't read the contents of her letter. She wrote for another few minutes, then folded it up and mentally reached out to Icona. Icona, you there? I finished a response to Fadran, if you could deliver it to him. @Channelknight Fadran

Queen pulled a sheet of paper and a pencil from her hat, then started writing a response to Fadran.

Technically, he told her that the life of her dreams would be promised and someday be hers, which I think is a lot better. Of course, everyone assumes that the life of her dreams is the perfection, and that's kind of what she's promised, but she does eventually get the freedom and family that is the real life of her dreams. There's also the whole "he told me that my power would grow like the grapes that thrive on the vine" and it DID but not in the perfect flowery way.

"Fadran's a genius, that's all." Queen grinned even more and tucked the letter into a pocket on the inside of her hat. It was where Tchanta sometimes slept, but she'd have to deal with it.

Lyanör stood awkwardly in the main room, one hand on a gun. For some reason, she trusted the woman who threw a dagger at her more than the person who initially let her in, or anyone else in the building.

Queen opened the letter and read its contents, a grin spreading across her face. That's so cool! she communicated to Icona. I don't think I have time to draft a response at the moment, we're rather busy, but could you let him know that I'm alright? And also that I love him?
