  1. Eldyn pretends to be sleeping but his eyes are fixated on the doorway through almost closed eyelids, ready for the peacekeeper to come barging in. @SmilingPanda19 @Just-A-Stick
  2. So you're not going to participate in the games?
  3. "Is that the same guy from yesterday?!" he asks. They quickly get in their beds, and by now most if not all of the kids in their barracks have awoken from the ruckus.
  4. Arthur thinks for a moment, and comes up with an idea. He steps out from the side of the wall and waves towards the small group of Peacekeepers. "Hey! Look over here!" He yells at them.
  5. Eldyn curses and runs with Liz, making sure not to rush past her. In between deep breaths he asks, "How are we going to hide? They'll see which barrack we enter!"
  6. Arthur sees more guards coming towards the barracks and pushes his back into the wall, praying that he wouldn't be spotted. This was a terrible decision.
  7. Eldyn knows he won't be able to convince her to return to their barracks, so follows her quietly. They quickly make it to Tony and Mirabelles barrack and slow down slightly. Nothing seems to be different than normal.
  8. "Liz!" Eldyn jumps out of his bed and runs after her. "Where are you going?" he whispers to her.
  9. Oh yeah. What/who is merp. I missed that.
  10. "I don't know," he replies. "Do you think that was from someone in the barracks?"
  11. The sun was setting, and it cast long shadows across the ground as Arthur snuck up to the wall of the barracks that he'd seen Elsie enter. He decided to wait there until it grew darker to decrease his chances of being caught. Arthur freezes as he hears voices on the other side of the building. He can't quite make out what they're saying, but it's enough to scare him. All they have to do is walk around the building and he'd be thrown in with the rest of them for good.
  12. Eldyn quickly sits up upon hearing the screams and promptly smashes his head into the bed above his. He refrains from cursing as the others still appear to be sleeping, but only barely. He glances over at Liz and sees that she is still there, sound asleep. When he had heard the scream, he had been worried for a split second that she had left the barracks once again and had been caught. He was surprised that none of others had seemed to hear the scream. Also @SmilingPanda19
  13. Arthur left his hiding place, but still kept out of view from the group of children and their peacekeepers. Eventually they made their way to their prison. The peacekeepers called them barracks, but Arthur knew what they really were. He watched as his sister went directly into one of the buildings, not talking with another person even a single time. Tonight, Arthur thought, tonight I'm going to confront my sister.
  14. Hazel started to grow uncomfortable as the silence grew. She didn't know what to say. She had never been very good at conversation. "Uhm..."she managed to get out. "Nice to meet you too" she hurriedly said then rushed off in the direction of the barracks, hoping to hide from the embarrassment of the interaction.
  15. I got permission lol Also I'll only be using one of them for the actual Hunger games, I'm just trying to help get RP going in each of them.
  16. Hazel was taken aback by how much he spoke. She had almost forgotten normal people talked like that. "It's okay. My name is Hazel." She looked back down at the ground after a moment.
  17. Hazel almost tripped as someone walked into them from behind, knocking her out of her mindlessness. Her eyes quickly scanned the area to make sure no Peacekeepers were too near, then rested her gaze on the boy who had somehow not seen where he was going. "Are you okay?" Hazel asked the boy in a completely genuine way.
  18. I'm all of them :P.
  19. Y'all should RP in the pre-RPs, I need people to RP with lol
  20. Arthur considered running out from his hiding spot to confront her, as he had each day since he'd spotted her face in the crowd of slaved children. But he was afraid. If he went out, he would easily be mistaken as one of the them. He hadn't been able to find anything else than his worn and dirty clothing since his parents and sister had died. Well, he had thought his sister died. It has happened in the actual Hunger Games. Off camera, of course, but her name was among those reported. Had she somehow escaped? Had her name only been listed to hide the rebel's success? But if that was the case, why hadn't she returned home? Why had she abandoned him? So it was that fear, more than anything, that kept him from approaching her. The fear that the Hunger Games had made her into a totally different person. A person that didn't love him anymore.
  21. It was the next morning now. The owners of the house Ash was hiding in had left an hour or so ago, which meant he had some freedom to move around. Ash continued to move around quietly regardless, not wanting to accidentally draw attention from nosey neighbors. He quickly grabbed some food from below then snuck back up to his small room. His heart rate didn't begin to drop back to normal until well after he had returned. The food was pretty good. Nothing like the meals his parents had fed him three times a day for his entire life. But at least he had food and didn't have to haul water for the rest of his life to get it.
