  1. So stake conference was this weekend. I know I'm technically 18 and all, but I'm still a youth, ok.

One of my good friends and I are usually speakers at things like that and whatever. He of course got the talk for the main session, which seems pretty ligit. I was expecting to talk at the youth session, but no. I spoke at the leadership meeting, so I was only one of two youth in the entire meeting lol.

But actually, it was pretty fun.

    Only one problem.

Now all the adults in the stake are fricken complimenting me for how good I apparently did and I don't know what to do lol.

I had stake conference this weekend, too!

And you don't really need to do anything except say thank you

Oh my gosh people telling you "good job" is the worst thing ever

It happens all the time in theatre

After the show, I'm trying to get somewhere but I can't get past the floods of humans saying "good job! Great show! You did so good!" and I get so sick of saying "thank you thank you thank you thank you" just changing my tone ever so slightly for each person and there's NOTHING ELSE TO SAY except sometimes "thanks for coming!" but that's awkward too and ahhhhhhhhh
