Kaladin is dead, his entire character is literally everyone else dies around him and he can’t stop it. That plus the entire philosophy of journey before destination screams heroic sacrifice the story of fleet is the exact same as the story of like noble six, the fight for the fight itself with the end not really mattering. Plus the way kaladin is with fighting it’s like a borderline drug for him and when he really gets into it he is barely human.

Sacrificing himself at the end is totally something Kaladin would do, but I don't think it would finish his character arc enough for it to happen. We already know he's willing, and he's already basically done it, like with Shallan in the chasms, so it doesn't really add anything or show character growth. The scene at the end of Oathbringer where he's saved is especially good because it's breaking from the norm of Kaladin saving everyone.

Spoilers All Series, but I am POSITIVE I know the fate of Roshar

      Reveal hidden contents

The vision of Roshar being destroyed is the "hidden ending" Brandon said is located somewhere in the first two books. The people of Roshar will become refugees who flee to Nalthis. Maybe Odium wins and Roshar is destroyed (for human-life anyway), or maybe Cultivation wins by destroying Roshar itself. Who knows. But the planet is doomed.

    Proof

    1. Brandon wouldn't give the same ending to multiple main series
        a. Sel - Post Shardic Defeat
        b. Nalthis - Shard unimpeded
        c. Scadrial     - Shards battling and merge; Hero's save the day last minute
        d. Roshar - seeing a shard taken down ; Heros fail.

    2. Themes
       a. Stormlight is all about refugees
       b. Seeing the Humans become refugees again would fit the moral arc of the series thus far
       c. The Iriali believe there will be another great migration

    3. Warbreaker is a Necessary Prequel to Stormlight Accoring to Brandon
        a. Nalthis is the next closest planet in the Cognitive realm
        b. Brandon said Nalthis has a customs agency (refugee status?)
        c. The main characters now have some idea of Nalthis being nearby and filled with humans
        d. Vivenna and Vasher could aid their refugee petition

     4. WOB
       a. When I asked Brandon about this on reddit, he said "..."

No! I really hope not :o

Wouldn't that be hard though if we're going to have Knights Radiant in the future?

    Relevant WOB:

    OrangeJedi (paraphrased)

Are there a significant number of Shardblades that have made it off Roshar?

    Brandon Sanderson (paraphrased)

    Define significant.

    OrangeJedi (paraphrased)

More than 1 / A number of them are that could come up later.

    Brandon Sanderson (paraphrased)

There is a connection between spren and Roshar that normally prevents spren, even dead ones, from leaving the planet. Note I said normally; do not imagine a large trade of Shardblades going off world.

    Miscellaneous 2018 (Oct. 25, 2018)

So Team Radiant probably couldn't leave with their spren...

    Triangle.

Also as a oboist who trys to wear a safe glove, it is impossible to play with a normal glove on. This is also true for most wind instrument, gloves are just constricting. I think this would be even worse with their safehand sleeve.

But triangle would work. And slide whistle

I'm trying to imagine Lighteyes like Jasnah looking very proper while using a slide whistle... :P

For stringed instruments, even if you used your freehand to pluck, it would be very hard to press down the strings with your safehand without muting them. If you used a your safehand (and a pick) to pluck then there would probably still be the same problem. (Since a havah, which a proper lighteyes would wear, has very long sleeves)

    First post, yay!
