  1. Think about it: When we last saw Vivenna on her way to leave Nalthis, she had a lot of breaths, but nowhere NEAR enough to animate herself a sword like the one she has. Most of the details we treat as confirming she is Vivenna is the evidence for her being from Nalthis, vague talk of her being royal/ abandoning a responsibility, and indications she traveled with vasher in the past and learned from him. Vasher is immortal, and we have NO idea how much time passed between Warbreaker and OB! she could be Vivenna's grand-grand daughter, or an ancient Nalthian Immortal who used to know Vasher before he made nightblood and warned him not to, now intent on punishing him for doing it and making an abomination (I know the other Scholars are dead but no one ever said other people from that era are too.) For the next one, a crazy theory I have been Legit Believing In for years: one of the people involved in the shattering was some kind of sentient horse.
  2. Maybe they were Radiant Spren? since there are 9 unmade and 9 types of Regular Radiants with Regular Spren. and the sibling itself is a spren, so it might be possible to corrupt other spren by corrupting their investiture. On second thought, if they were a type of Regular Sentient Spren made into a Big Sentient Spren they would probably made from voidspren, not radiant spren. so maybe i'm a fool.
  3. Before we got to know the 4-groups-of-4 system I would say something like Loyalty, or anything that really focuses on like, society and interpersonal relationships and obligations between people. im still working around a lot of my thoughts for the 4 groups, but rn i think what we're missing will be something related to Responsibility and, like, Efficiency, Capabillity- so maybe something like Determination or Obligation.
  4. Your theories are p in line w/ my ideas, but i think its would be more like one of those Political Diagram memes- that is, the four categories have combinations. I just think like you said, the relationships with the concepts are not entirely straight forward- jsut because you're not Change-y doesn't mean you're not defined by your connection to the concept of change, so it makes sense to me to view them a bit like dnd alignments, with 2 different scales where being Chaotic means more than being Not-Lawful. It also make sense to me because of the radiant orders, who all share 1 part with another order- so the groups would be compounds. but it's an idea i came up wih v recently binging and still havent had time to develop it, so idk if it would work with the shards and numbers- im just putting it out ig.
  5. This isn't my usual platform for cosmere posting, but the people I've been talking with on tumblr havent seemed to come up with much, and the groups im in are still in Spoiler Lockdown- something that really interests me is comparing the letter assumed to be from Sazed in the Oathbringer Epigraphs, to Sazed's letter in the RoW epigraphs. They seem to generally travel along the same lines of thought ('how is it that i haven't noticed you here', 'I'm still new here and learning new stuff aboutm y previous preceptions of divinity', 'its hard for me to act because of dual shards i wield are in conflict', etc). however the RoW letter makes direct reference to Scadrial and to ruin and preservation, while the first does not, and the level of cosmere awerness between them is wildly different. This means one of two things- either it gives us a better understaning of the timeframe between their writing and of Sazed's increasing cosmere awerness over the years- suggesting the two letter belong to two mistborn eras and perhsaps even helping finally put them in relativity to the roshar timeline, cuz the "find me a sword to represent me, someone who will protec and destroy" brings Waxto mind for me- OR we were wrong in the assumption the OB letter is sazed, and there is ANOTHER DUAL WEILDER in the cosmere. What did you think as you read it? Does anyone with more expertise/fluency in Word Of Brandon material know if its entirely certain/confirmed the third OB letter is sazed too?
  6. I didn't record the question i asked him during the Icon signing on wednesday october 16th, but i remember it quite well. Q: Which part of the two in Dalinar's oath in the end of book three- y'know, "I will take responsibility [...] If i must fall i will rise each time a better man"- would you say encompasses the third ideal of the bondsmiths best? the neutral version of it, what would it be? A: (he thought a bit, hummed) It would be about the second part, mainly about getting better- I will rise each time a better man.
