Phaedrus smiled as the kippies played, keeping her tail wrapped around her babies. Pebble kept falling over onto her back, so Phaedrus had to push her back up every few minutes. It was fine, though; Pebble would learn eventually.

Fadran did the same. "Go, boy!" Junior scraped his hoof against the snow, then took off like a bullet up the hill. -
Fadran tied a couple ropes to Junior's harness, attaching them to his and Aria's sleds. "Hold on."

It's got 3... only 33 to go.

"Just wait until you get up top." Fadran patted Junior. "You ready, pal?" Junior snorted, as if to say 'Fad, I was born ready.'

Fadran ran outside after her, beckoning to Junior. "Come on, boy!" Junior perked up again, happily following them both to the hill.

Fadran grabbed a sled of his own, gearing up in a winter coat, gloves, scarf, and hat.

"Junior's kind of bad at sledding, but he'll run right alongside you."

"We didn't train him to do that or anything. One day, he just showed up in the backyard, already hitched up. Wouldn't stop whinnying until we climbed aboard."

"Oop. You said the magic word." Fadran smiled. Junior perked up at the word 'sledding,' immediately kneeling down and looking at Aria expectantly. "He wants you to hitch him up to the sleigh so he can pull us up the hill."

Junior blew affectionately on her face, then licked the oats out of her hand.

Junior nuzzled her right hand.

Junior huffed, then started sniffing her hands.

Junior snorted, then licked her face.

Junior finished off the oats, nuzzling her for more. It took to licking her other hand, but its head reared up in disappointment when it found no oats there.

"Make him? Aria, sometimes I have to make him not stand on the roof. He has a bad habit of going wherever he wants to go."

"We just call him Junior." Junior started licking the oats out of Aria's hand.

Ollie jumped out and giggled. "You found me! Can we look for the others together?"

"Won't give me away?" Ollie whispered. Phaedrus smiled, keeping her tail tucked around the kippy. "Now why would I do that?"

Fadran glanced up, smiling. "Told your our reindeer aren't inflatable. Grab a bunch of oats and make him guess which hand it's in; he loves that."
