  1. "To be completely honest, Jeff, you're not exactly in a very logical state of mind right now. Nath's right; if you knew how to get her back, you'd just get yourself killed."
  2. "Ehh, I... kinda... did?"
  3. "Trying to get something out of Nath is like trying to get the center of a geode with a broken stick."
  4. "Jeff..." Fadran said. "Pal, none of us know how to get her. Just ask Jek; he's been delerious about finding her for days. We're doing the best we can with the resources we have, which at the time are very limited."
  5. "Yeah. We're at a huge disadvantage, which is why I'm getting Ayia to throw together an elite squad. Marching an army up a mountain is hard. sending a few well-trained warriors up a mountain? Not so much. They'll be hard to detect, difficult to counter, and easy to maneuver. We'll grab some enemy watchtowers, position our troops on the high ground, and reconfigure our plan from there."
  6. "Most folks just call me 'genie' or something of that sort. Names kinda become redundant when you hear them for thousands and thousands of years, ya know?"
  7. "Basic stuff. Swords, spears, bows, arrows." Fadran looked over at the mountains. "How are the mountains a major disadvantage?"
  8. "Dunno. Pheonix girl calls me Jinn."
  9. "Don't go back up there." Ollie brushed a tear off her face. "Come on... let's get inside." She grabbed Candle and retreated into the cave.
  10. "We don't know anything for certain, but Wyrn's nation has been at the top of the food chain for ages. His fortress is just north of here, and it's surrounded by mountain ranges on all sides. It'd be foolish to assume that these mountains are undefended. The only way we have that isn't closing ourselves in further is down south... but that'd just be a glorified retreat."
  11. "I just... no. Okay? No. Don't go back up there."
  12. "That's one possible solution. Removing him, dethroning him, making him surrender... as of our current situation, then exact means of bringing him out of power are kind of unimportant. Currently, we're trying to pull ourselves out of a tough spot. I did mention that we were surrounded, right?"
  13. "Quite, I believe. Or, rather, the soldiers are. They believe in Wyrn as their god-king of sorts."
  14. "I... don't... can Phaedrus..." she sniffed. "I--" @EmiTheNinja
  15. "Yeah, more or less. At the very least, the whole 'servant and master' thing isn't as cut-and-dry as your stories make it out to be."
  16. Ollie clenched her teeth and ignored Snowy. "Why would you go up?" She asked.
  17. Hugs! : D
  18. "That'd be really useful, assuming we had any enemies to analyze. We have no clue where they are; we can only guess at this point."
  19. "How are we supposed to get back up? We just got down! They could shoot us off the mountain the second we pop our heads up over the peak!" Ollie collapsed over her paws. "We can't go down. There are ironclads that way. We can't go up. There are ironclads that way, too. There isn't anywhere we can go!"
  20. "CAN SOMEONE PLEASE STOP THIS GUY???"
  21. Candle started whimpering at Ollie's anger, calming her down a little. "It's... I'm... sorry..."
  22. "Uhh... strategy? Currently, our strategy is just get out of this mess. We're surrounded on all sides, most likely, and the idea is to poke a hole in enemy defenses. As for our odds..." He shrugged. "Not high, but not inconcievable." "Great. I'll do that." Fadran looked over at Jeffery. "Yeah, we're... doing our best to find her. She's a little more unavailable than is the norm."
