"Whoa, really?" Falchion looked her up and down. "Did you make that dress?"

"Well that's good, 'cause it's really pretty." She maanged to free herself from the goopy prison. "Yeesh... and this is a silk overcoat, man..."

Falchion nodded to her, still enveloped in weirdly thick water. "I like your dress."

Falchion managed to pull her head out of the magical water. "Yeesh. Did that guy just jump through a window?"

"You know what?" Falchion dropped some cash on the counter for her new Enchanting tome. "I think that's good for today."

"Well, well. That's a familiar face."

"That's a crime. Called stealing. Not usually a good thing." Falchion turned back to the employee. "Magic books? What manner of magic do they contain?"

"No."

"Haven't seen it before." Falchion brought out her ID. "By the way, I am an adult. And licensed in Enchanting."

With the Silmarillion safely bagged away, Falchion moved to look at all the textbooks. Enchanting For Dummies... The Encyclopedia of Enchanting... Enchanting 101 with Colin Heartzch... Oooh, The Enchanting History of Spellbinding! Haven't seen that one in awhile... still read it though... There was one. Ninety-nine Enchantments You Won't Learn in your Classes by Haandi Burgon. Falchion flipped through some of the pages to make sure this wasn't one of those low-effort kinds, but after being thoroughly surprised by a number of enchanting circles and equations, she figured it was probably the real deal.

"Some of 'em, yeah. But I'm looking for textbooks, not actual spells."

Falchion had been trying to see if she had any cash for this, but - not to her surprise - she didn't, so she paid with debit instead. "Actually... what Enchanting books do you have here? Any rare-ish ones?"

"....Okay then. Well, I'll be getting this, thanks."

"Is there a problem with buying seven books?"
