  1. Chuckling maniacally under his breath, Selil watched the poor mortals trudge towards the eternal slave pits that they'd live and die in. @Fallapede
  2. Elya turned her gaze to Saaphir. "How long were you watching him before he escaped?" @#1 Taln Fan
  3. "That's impressive." Elya started stirring her mix, sounding sincere.
  4. Elya turned her gaze towards Ne’ik. “You escaped on your own, then?” @Szeth_Pancakes
  5. "The idea was to make it for everyone," Elya said. "So yes. You can."
  6. H E L L O ! Welcome to the Shard!
  7. Elya turned her head to the side a little, not meeting anyone's glance. This wasn't her battle to fight. She listened intently, though, to the movements of Saaphir.
  8. Elya smiled a bit: a smirk, of sorts. It was an unfamiliar gesture.
  9. "We just ran into each other." Elya started boiling some water and sorting through various 'ingredients'.
  10. "Ji's the one in charge here, really."
  11. "Alright." Elya pulled on her jacket, clasped the front, then strode to the room to make breakfast.
  12. "Any cooking supplies?"
  13. Elya stood, looking around. "Ji, where do you keep your sustenance?"
  14. "Would you like something to eat?" Elya asked, recalling that the last thing they'd given him had been a single granola bar.
  15. "Good morning." Elya said simply.
  16. Elya turned a somewhat disappointed gaze back at him.
  17. Elya shrugged. "I haven't decided what to do with him over the long-term. At the moment he poses a threat by knowing where and who we are, so we can't allow him freedom."
  18. "For the time being, we're simply holding him captive."
  19. "The cycle of vengeance doesn't ever really end," Elya said. "If the one called Arekon killed your father, then his life was in your hands. And now that you've killed him, your life is in Ne'ik's."
  20. "I imagine that if he knew that you had killed his friend, then you would be in far more danger from him than us."
  21. Nodding, Elya replied, "Then I suppose you should probably leave: your life, as it seems, belongs to Ne'ik now."
  22. Elya turned her gaze to the newcomer and their prisoner, scanning them both. "You killed his friend?" She asked.
  23. Sitting up, completely silent, Elya took off her jacket and examined her wounds. It was just a motion to do in the moment of silence: dabbing a wet cloth to old wounds, stoking a pain to heal it faster. She didn't have to look to feel him shaking. "If you ever managed to... avenge them," Elya said, voice slow, careful, and controlled, "what would you do next?"
