    So he called on another old ally.

    Adreus cursed and started formulating a new plan. Perhaps he could transform the inhabitants of this land into a legion of monsters.

    Adreus scratched his head, realizing that his spells had failed as he looked upon the vast multitude of beings that he'd summoned. He supposed that the spell only summoned beings who saw themselves as the most powerful, not those who were actually most powerful.

    Adreus used Thaidakar's soul energy to power the ritual to summon the most powerful spirit in the entire underworld.
