  1. Nameless winced, running over to help TAAron back to his feet. "I don't know exactly what dimension it was. It was where those healers were from. Are you sure you're okay to be walking?"
  2. Meanwhile, Foe was up, preparing to give his own preliminary argument as to why he should be allowed to continue his plan.
  3. "She... left. Went back to that dimension she found. She told me to tell you goodbye, TAAron."
  4. This was irrelevant, as Eof pointed out as his first point in the debate. He would of course undergo any sacrifice for the good of TLT.
  5. Nameless walked into the room. "Present. How're you feeling TAAron? Better?"
  6. "You will want Pewter, yes?" The doctor handed TAAron a vial of metal. "It will likely help manage the pain, although you'll have to be careful not to overuse it and become a savant."
  7. "Alright. You'd like to try standing up?"
  8. "Your soul's connection to your body should be healed just fine. However, the pain you mention, well... there's nothing we can do about it. There may be other side effects as well, but the pain should be the main one."
  9. The cluster of doctors conferred, examining a sheet of readings. Finally, one of them walked back to TAAron's bedside, holding a clipboard. "Your soul has experienced severe damage. We can stabilize you, but there will be... side effects."
  10. In the meantime, Eof and Foe had begun their battle of philosophy.
  11. “Nonsense. You’re not dying, we just stopped you from dying a little bit late. Nothing we can’t fix.” The specialist went back to his hushed conversation as several more doctors entered the room.
  12. The specialist frowned, looking at some readings on his screen. “Hm. You appear to have experienced damage to your soul. Much more so than we previously thought. Excuse me, I need to go confer with my associates.” The specialist walked to the other side of the room, where he began having a hushed conversation in very concerned tones.
  13. The specialist smiled cheerfully. “Welcome back to the land of the living! The agonizing pain should pass soon.”
  14. As soon as he was out of sight of shaky, Nameless sent a message to @CalanoCorvus Are you okay with Haly going to the Nayorian dimension? She seems to think it’s fine since it’s technically in the same dimension, but I just wanted to make sure you knew about it.
  15. Meanwhile, the clinic medical staff was hard at work keeping TAAron alive. They quickly brought in the life support system, made with the latest in multidimensional healing magics. It could keep a soul alive and healable indefinitely, even in cases where the body had been destroyed or the soul had suffered significant damage. Once that was up and running, they put in a call for a specialist to heal the brain damage, and settled in to wait.
  16. "Alright. See you then." Nameless nods at Haly, then wanders back to his room to finish rererererereading the whole Cosmere.
  17. "Hm. Very sad. You have Calano's permission?"
  18. "Probably. The doctors here are the best in the entire world."
  19. "Should be over here." Nameless grabbed TAAron's legs, helping Haly carry him to the clinic infirmary.
  20. Hoid was not happy. In fact, he was angry.
  21. Unfortunately, TLR then backhanded Hoid as well.
  22. But he had no choice. The merge was happening, and no force in TLT could stop it.
