Klave spoke up from behind the stranger, expression dark. "If the child is your brother, then what is his name?"

"Sounds... whimsical. Happy."

"Alagaesian?" Klave shook his head. "No. You have?"

Klave tilted his head, considering. "You could call me that. I've had... run-ins with dragons before. More than most."

Klave walked back over to Bookwyrm, staring at the now bipedal lizard. "Dragons are rather common in the multiverse, aren't they?" @The Bookwyrm @Shining Silhouette

"So you're a shapeshifting spirit, that inhabits komodo dragons and remakes them in its own image."

"I see. So you're not an actual dragon?"

"You some kind of spirit? What kind of spirit needs a komodo dragon as a host?"

Klave looked down at the reptile, surprise flickering across his ruined features. "That's... good?"

Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway Nameless nodded sharply. "Thank you. And thanks for getting the wolves to leave." Turning back towards the unconscious group to make sure they were all right, Nameless released saidin, letting the shield he'd been prepared to slam between Rue and the Source disappear. @Aes Sedai

Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway Nameless stared at Rue levelly. "I'll give you that thanks if you make that promise." @Aes Sedai

Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway Nameless nods, watching the wolves go and letting the wall of flames fade away. "Good." He turns back to Rue. "Now, I need you to promise me that you'll never use compulsion on me or anyone else in our group." @Aes Sedai

Klave nodded. "Alright. Just wanted to be sure you were aware of it." He looked over at Pyro and Enter, taking note of their conversation.

Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway The wolves follow Rue's command, slowly backing away. Their eyes continued to stare at her hatefully. Nameless breaths out a sigh of relief, but doesn't release saidin. "Alright. Can you get them to leave? Stay away from us?" @Aes Sedai

Klave glanced back at the room he'd just left. "That child has been through a lot. You know anything of his story?"

Klave stepped out of the boy's room and noticed someone who looked like they were in charge next to someone who'd just fallen off the roof. He walked over, holding out a hand to Fadran in greetings. "Hi. I'm Klave. Fadran, right? This your inn?" @Channelknight Fadran

Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway "I don't think-" Nameless cut off as a wolf finished making its way through the barrier and leapt towards Rue, aiming its teeth for her throat. He blasted it backwards with a weave of fire, preparing others as more wolves started to break through. "Insa! I could use a hand here." He looked about, but couldn't see her through the wall of fire he'd made. @Aes Sedai @InfiniteInsanity

Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway Nameless blinked, weaving another wall of fire around them. "I don't know. Perhaps-" The wolves stepped through Nameless', moving more slowly, sparks of blue light flying off their coats, but the weaves still bent out of the way. "Light. That's not good." @Aes Sedai

Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway "Of course I don't want you to kill them! It's not their fault that they hate you." The wolves stepped through the fire, coats shining brightly as Rue's weaves bent around them. @Aes Sedai

Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway Namelss swiveled to stare at Rue in shock. "You want to use compulsion on them? Light, where'd you learn that? I could never find any hint of it. It's even more closely guarded than the weave for balefire." The wolves approached, making a new circle with Rue at the center. @Aes Sedai

Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway "I didn't want to set lethal wards in the middle of nowhere! Who knows what I might have killed." Nameless launched his weaves, a ring of fire to spring up around the unconscious group, causing the wolves there to spring back in fear. "And anyways, they were probably already inside the wards. Can't blame me for that." As soon as Rue launched her weaves, the wolves turned towards her, dozens of angry eyes staring straight at the Aes Sedai.

Klave looked at the drawing, sympathy for the child growing. "Thank you for sharing that part of your story with me." He hesitated, unsure of what to do next. "I'm... sorry for whatever struggles you've gone through. This world is not always a kind place."

Ravelast: Sixth Archive Gateway "MY fault? You're the one who-" Nameless cut off, taking a deep breath and calming himself. "Sorry Insa. You're right. Wolves first, stupid Aes Sedai arrogance later." He drew in saidin, preparing weaves of fire to ward off the wolves if they got too close. "We can probably scare them off. No need to hurt them if we don't have to." The circle of wolves closed inwards, several breaking into the light and becoming clearly visible. One sniffed at an unconscious body, seeming curious. @Aes Sedai @InfiniteInsanity

Klave broke the cookie in half, taking a bite out of his half and offering the boy the other. "Probably not poisoned" he mumbled between bites.
