  1. The brave adventurer did not think this would be the case, but he kept his thoughts to himself for the time being.
  2. The brave adventurer shushes Sequence, slightly rattled by the welcoming guard's departure. "You could come with us. I'm the best swordfighter in the entire thread, and my ally seems to have great powers of her own. Surely the three of us together can get the the ruler of this place's palace, sneak inside, petition to get your powers back, and steal the Plotblade."
  3. The brave adventurer waves a hand dismissively to the ally. “We knew this place was going to be dangerous. If anything, it’s been less so than I expected. Although we have gotten very lucky.”
  4. The brave adventurer nods. “That’s not a problem. I’m sure it’ll come back to you soon enough.”
  5. the brave adventurer walks over to Sequence. “Do you wish to join our party now?”
  6. The brave adventurer shakes his head. “We can’t leave Sequence.”
  7. The brave adventurer finishes off the last of the skeletons, then turns to confront the void-eyed man. He blinks in shock at all the Narration-related shenanigans that are going on. “Uh, hello strange Narrator. I am glad for yo-” He’s cut off as Subversion appears, grabs Platypus, and disappears. @Being of Cacophony
  8. “Many thanks.” The brave adventurer attacks with renewed vigor, now easily avoiding the skeletons attacks and getting in strikes of his own.
  9. The brave adventurer continued fighting with his daggers. “I don’t have a sword.”
  10. “Um, Sequence? Could you maybe help me out here?” The brave adventurer fights furiously, barely managing to prevent the skeletons from killing him. @Sequence @xinoehp512
  11. The brave adventurer curses, pulling a dagger from his coat and hurling it at the void-eyed man. Two more knives appear in his hands as he charges the skeletons, expression grim.
  12. The brave adventurer jumps again, spinning on the voice. “Yes, we’re looking for the Plotblade. Might I ask who you are, and what you’re doing in this place?”
  13. The brave adventurer shivers, then jumps as the elf creature tapps his shoulder. “We’re in his domain, but I don’t see any castle around here. And I’ve only ever heard of one Plotblade.”
  14. The brave adventurer nods. "Thank you for the advice. I will be more careful in the future. Might I ask, why do you care about this? From the stories, I thought those in this land would simply kill me on sight."
  15. The brave adventurer shrugged. "Something like that."
  16. The brave adventurer shrugged. "Everywhere else I'd die for certain. This place, well, I still might not have a chance, but at least I can die trying to live."
  17. The brave adventurer opens his mouth, then closes it, considering. Eventually, he decides to tell the truth. "I'm dying. And coming here is my only chance to live."
  18. "Oh." The brave adventurer hesitates. "In that case, I'll just be on my way."
  19. The brave adventurer's mouth goes dry, and he swallows before speaking again. "You're right. I do lie. Are you going to kill me now?"
  20. The brave adventurer comes to a halt, hand on his dagger, and addresses the figure. "Hello. Could you please tell me where I am? I'm afraid that I lost my map a few days ago."
  21. The brave adventurer continued walking forward, posture relaxed.
  22. The brave adventurer subtly tilts his head to the left.
  23. The brave adventurer put a hand to his side, fingers wrapping around the hilt of his dagger. "There's something watching us."
  24. The creature stopped struggling, continuing to shift rapidly from form to form. Suddenly, the ash around Rym stirred. A dozen glowing white ribbons of sand erupted all around Rym and the creature, two stabbing into Rym's arms, six others others wrapping around the two blades to pull them free of the creature, the rest of the ribbons pulling the monster away from Rym. The ribbons brought the creature back to its feet a few yards away from Rym, returning the ash-stained blade of Plot to its hands. The creature regarded the ribbons as if shocked at its ability to control them. Then it turned towards Rym, eyes full of hate. "Half your reason, perhaps. I never really cared what it did. I'm only coming here so that I can be cured." The brave adventurer strode onwards, towards the center of Onyx's domain. @Being of Cacophony @xinoehp512
  25. "Don't know. Never really thought much on the subject."
