  1. My early reactions to State of the Sanderson 2019: -Dark One looks really good, much better than White Sand. I'm hyped. -The "Cosmere Sequence" is amazing. It's so ambitious it even dwarfs the Stormlight Archive as a series. -Wax and Wayne 4 in 2022 is not that bad when you look at the bigger picture. -It looks Brandon's hopes for adaptations had a setback this year. I am sad for him but I also worry about how time-consuming this adaptations could become. -I am both a metal and a Sanderson fan, so I am already anticipating the Songs of the Dead book.
  2. When I registered in this forum I said I was suicidal like Kaladin. But it doesnt even compare to how bad I feel today. I feel like Kaladin looking directly at the chasm at the beginning of TWoK. Send hugs !!!!!!!
  3. You count out the hours left to State of the Sanderson 2019 and knowing the future of the Cosmere.
  4. Don't think it could be pushed back. People can already preorder it if they want.
  5. I am so happy, great news !! I was starting to fear a 2021 publication, but Brandon is great at his job. Nov 2020 SA 4 publication also means we are getting closer to The Lost Metal release. It's always sunshine when you are a Cosmere fan, isn't it?
  6. When you await more for the State of the Sanderson 2019 coming in 2 weeks than Brandon's actual releases.
  7. 85% I don't know if Brandon will achieve his original goal, but only 15 % left.
  8. Latest Update: Stormlight 4 & 5 outlining: 100 % !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. 75 % One quarter to finish the first version of the story.
  10. Last update: SA 4 rough draft 70 % !!!
  11. Double news: SA 4 & 5 outlining now 92 % SA 4 rough draft 67 %,
  12. Kaladin's around 39 K Shallan's 22 K Dalinar 45 K
  13. I come here to inform Brandon has decided (and finished !) https://twitter.com/BrandSanderson/status/1177129181609463809
  14. 64 % now When Brandon is really into it, he writes 1 % every 2 days. That's great.
  15. Shallan x Renarin, after Adolin dies (mimicking Dalinar x Navani after Gavilar died).
  16. I don't hate White Sand, but I found it incredibly frustrating. It feels that everything is underdevelop. Like if the first two volumes where the first 200 pages of The Way of Kings. It doesn't feel the story has gotten anywhere. There is so many things I like, that's the reason I am so frustrated, the potential is too great and is wasted. -Ais, a character who is troubled because her religious convictions contradict her duties. She is torn about this, but the comic has not enough space to develop her character, which is the most interesting or me. -Kenton is good, there is so many things you could do with him: explore the taboo about Daysiders mixing with Darksiders, the Diem's place in society, a struggle with the other stronger guy to take the Diem in different directions and why he thinks that way. .The Darkside politics, Baon's main goal. -Explore the religious cult that is fundamentally oppose to use sand for fighting. This is the place where in other novels like SA or Mistborn you would have space for mythology and legends. .
  17. I absolutely love Sixth of the Dusk. My Cosmere wish is that Brandon decides to do a full novel set in First of the Sun, like he wants to do for Threnody.
  18. I always suspected 3 years between SA books was too little, it wouldn't suprise if he has to delay Book 4 for March or April 2021. I am looking forward to State of the Sanderson 2019, because I want to know when Wax and Wayne 4 is scheduled.
  19. That's funny, coming from a character that hates himself Thanks to all of you, anyway, I will carry on.
