  1. @Rask I will be taking a break from Mistborn universe after the third book and will start Stormlight I really can't wait! @Wander89 I don't have a lot of time for reading nowadays and it goes slowly. I will write my thoughts in this thread after I finish it @Kaladin-Stormblessed I feel lucky that I even picked the books up! And seeing Brandon writes so often, I know I will never really need to wait long for a new book It's thrilling to explore my new favourite universe.
  2. I didn't sleep for two nights, because of the endless and noisy party my neighbour has, also didn't eat for two days, because I suffer for the syndrome of last two days before the payment. At least I still have books. Books are kinda a remedy.
  3. When I was picking the first book, I was sure it will be good, I have that feeling not very often and in these rare cases often it pays off. But the characters blew me away in many ways. While reading the beginning, on skaa plantation, I felt that I am befriending a really great man - Kelsier. Then the other characters started to appear and each was different but worthy and the whole pack of thieves that Kelsier gathered, stole my heart as quick as swallow pierces the air. Vin was my second choice, as I always loved raising from the ashes, and here it was as metaphorical as obvious. Breeze started gaining my heart in the first scenes. Kelsier was from then a form of unreachable hero, who you must like because of his charisma but he still is distant. His plans were genial, he was a visioner and I loved reading about his ever-present smile and plans. It started with him but it was Vin, Breeze, Elend and one more character that I fell for in real unadulterated love. TENSOON. I love him SO much. Descriptions of his calm and detached service were brilliant and heart-catching and it didn't help he was in the body of a doge. It was a prophetic choice, as he became as loyal as the doges are. He even broke a contract to save Vin. He is for me the most inspiring character that appeared in the books. Overall, I have about 50 pages to finish the third book. It's my fave series. I only can imagine how great other Brandon's books must be if many people put Stormlight over Mistborn. I can't wait until I start drawing all characters from the books, or at least the main ones I love drawing characters from my fave books.
  4. I always was cracked by Amaranth by NIghtwish xD It's "Caress the one The never-fading rain In your heart To tears of snow-white sorrow Caress the one The hiding amaranth" After some jokes I heard, all I hear is: "Carrots that wander, never fading, raining. You're hard! And Jesus' snow-white Zorro! Carrots that wander, hiding m&ms in a lamb" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdZn7k5rZLQ

    Mistborn Jokes

Opinions on the Last Empire end: Lord Ruler: Skaa rebellion was really a scandalous thing. Breeze: The reign really went with the wind. Vin: Good joke, Breeze. Breeze: Even a small wind can bend a tiny tree. Vin: Wait! I should know that you used an allomancy on me! And stop that. You are not Ham to philosophy me. Low sense of humour by Kualo, checked
  6. Jessica Green as Vin. I was seeing her all the time while reading books. Maybe she is older but looks so young. I am a bit tired of Maisie Williams, to be honest. GoT overdose.
  7. This one always was cracking me up Schrodinger's cat walks into a bar and doesn't.

    TenSoon

I somehow mixed the wolfish part of TenSoon's look with my own dog, which is a German Shepherd xD It oddly fits. 1. TenSoon seeing Vin 2. TenSoon seeing KanPaar
  9. Death in Paradise. It's such a soothing criminal series. Somehow, the tropical climate mixed with typical British thining, makes me calm down during watching.
  10. I am finishing The Hero of Ages and re-reading The Witcher saga by Andrzej Sapkowski. The Witcher is my fifth re-read, as it always belonged to my favourite series. And yes! I love the Lightbringer, it's heavy in number of pages but very easy to follow
  11. I will possibly read them very soon I have almost all books on my shelf (at least those available in my country). I would say that Vin and Breeze are my faves. I have a soft spot for tiny thief characters becoming great. As for Breeze, he has that familiar something which touches me deep inside. Maybe it's his allomancy touching my feelings? Thank you for welcomes, guys!
  12. I am listening to Agalloch's The White EP. I never have enough of their folkish tunes. What a pity they disbanded.
  13. I would - of course - love to be a Mistborn but I doubt if I had so much luck ^^ I would agree on being a Coinshot or a Soother. Breeze is an example which I would love to follow.
  14. Vin is a very down-to-earth person and possibly she feels guilty but doesn't tear her robes but tries to mend it somehow and fix her mistakes. I can't really imagine Vin lamenting but acting. That's what I love in Vin among many things, not overthinking and not crying over spilt milk.
  15. I am a huge fan of Anne Rice and her Vampire Chronicles but had to stop reading Blood Canticle in the middle because that book had no sense. It was a pulp of nonsense. I regret even that I picked it up. The only book I didn't finish.
  16. My only good friend is a dogge. So...yeahs. To get a big amount of friends, I just need to raise the number of dogs in my house, so easy <3 PUPPER IS ALL I NEED.
  17. I have been told to be a boy several times already. Mostly when I was a child of 10-14 years but happened also a year ago, two times. I am 30 years old and still don't look like a woman? Sad.
  18. Hello ^^ I am a huge fan of Brandon Sanderson and even if I didn't read all the books yet, I bought them all and they wait in the queue. I read Elantris and Mistborn (first trilogy) so far. I must say that Mistborn quickly became my obsession and now, when I am reading the last book of the trilogy, I talk only about it xD Nice to meet you all!
