I chose Sleepless as I just finished Edgedancer a few minutes ago and was enthralled by the concept. With that book I'm caught up on the public Cosmere books.
I began this journey in 2013 and, unfortunately, only noticed a connection upon Nightblood being introduced in the Stormlight series. Which I happened to pick up this past year.
I was thrilled when I recognized Nightblood because it is by far one of my favorite characters. The simplicity and power that it brings to the pages thrills me.
I am now hopelessly lost in my memories trying to remember all the mentions of Hoid, the mentions of Adonalsium, trying to remember what happened in all the books I read 6 years ago, trying to connect the dots between Stormlight and Warbreaker, and trying not to agonize over the fact that I now need to re-read all of the books because I am hopelessly lost.
Brandon Sanderson, you are the first author who has convinced me to join a fan club and a forum. Of the hundreds of books I've read, your's have drug me in deeper than any other. Except perhaps the Kingkiller Chronicles. It's a pretty even match there.
I look forward to learning more and opening my eyes to that which is not easily seen.
