  1. “Fine, if you insist. Although I still think that it won’t help very much.” Ben wasn’t about to argue with a Skybreaker, and getting healed probably wouldn’t do any damage.
  2. And lots and lots of syrup.
  3. If only I had a waffle, Luna thought.
  4. “But... but surely it can’t be that easy!”
  5. But hoooooow?! *waves arms around like Kermit*
  6. I rushed up to him, screaming at the top of my lungs. We were surely doomed, for none could stand against the great power of the moderators!
  7. “Yes please.” Ben took his hand and let him pull him upwards, then sat back down on the couch. Well, more like fell. “Well, at least I don’t think that I will be falling asleep anytime soon.”
  8. “Probably?” He tried to stand up again, to get up off the floor, but he kept on falling back down. ”Caffeine and I do not mix well. And apparently I am still very tired. I just don’t feel like it. Why on Earth did I do this...”
  9. “I honestly have no idea...” Ben knew that this probably wasn’t the best course of action, but he was pretty much out of options. He lifted the cup to his lips with a shaking hand and took a sip. Immediately some of his tiredness vanished. Soon the entire cup had been drained. He titled his head back to get the last couple of drops, then set the cup down. ”Wow, I feel great, like I can do anything! In fact, I am going to go get a book!” He said, talking so fast that it was almost too difficult to understand him. He tried to stand up, but his legs gave out and he ended up collapsed on the floor. ”Dang it.”
  10. “No, I don’t think... don’t think those would help. I’m just tired, not in pain...” He got an idea. A pretty terrible idea, but an idea nonetheless. ”A-Anyone have caffeine?”
  11. Ben jerked awake. Had he been sleeping? ”I-I don’t know if that would help.” He paused, his thoughts feeling like molasses. ”Maybe the... surges” Thinking of the correct word was difficult. ”Are different. They seem to drain you, tire you, without your being able to do a thing about it...” He yawned, feeling like his jaw was going to split in half.
  12. Ben listened to them talk, plan, speculate. He desperately wanted to take part in their conversation, to ask questions and theorize, but he just didn’t have the energy. Didn’t have the strength. He heard Rob say something about... fashion, was it? He was too tired to focus on what he was saying. His eyes began to drift closed. He tried to stop them, but it was like trying to stop Leona from eating cake. He started to drift off, blackness slowly overtaking his vision.
  13. Meanwhile, the spaceship got closer to the potato. I wondered how Truthless could fit inside of it.
  14. Ben rested his head back and smiled back at her. ”Thanks.” “Erm... I’d rather not get drenched with Sprite, but thanks for the offer.”
  15. “I...” He trailed off, half from the effort to speak and half from indecision. He thought for a moment. ”I think I will just stay on the couch, maybe read a little.” He didn’t want to make Shana have to carry him to Doc or support him. She was already very tired as well and he didn’t want to be a burden. ”Can someone please slap me if I close my eyes for more than three seconds?”
  16. You have been invited. Welcome!
  17. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! I am so happy! I love Sixth of the Dusk!
  18. He gratefully sucked in the stormlight. He felt slightly better, but still very, very tired. ”Yeah, that sounds like a good idea.” He tried to stand up to go talk to Doc but his legs wobbled so much that he had to sit back down.
  19. It had exactly 37 eyes. Actual eyes.
  20. “No, no...” He was cut off by a large yawn. ”Just forgot how tiring healing was...” He fought hard to keep his eyes open. He didn’t want to fall asleep while everyone else was awake. He didn’t want to have to face the nightmare by himself.
  21. Ben wrapped an arm around her, glad that she hadn’t been forced to kill herself, to go through with that. She leaned against him and he suddenly realized how tired he was. He had been putting off rest for far too long- healing people, although it wasn’t nearly as exhausting as getting healed, had taken a lot of out him. Ben has ignored that, as his concern for Shana had outweighed everything else. It was a wonder he had been able to do so for so long. He nearly collapsed as it felt like his legs had been turned to jelly.
  22. I dodged a hatchet, upset. ”Hey! Will you stop th-“ I cut off as I saw the majesty of the floating space potato, which we had finally reached.
  23. Ben shuddered at their talk. He was grateful that Shana had woken him up. Had she not, he would have been forced to kill himself. He wasn’t sure if he could, and didn’t want to have to find out. “Hey, um, thanks for waking me up,” He whispered to Shana, internally kicking himself for forgetting to thank her earlier. @Sorana
  24. Just then the engines ignited and the rocket started to blast its way towards the potato. ”Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!”
  25. “At least, some of the time...” I mumbled.
