    Guys, this is the perfect climax. The Narrators being attacked by their own main character. Also, I killed Lift a while back, so Kell's likely pretty ticked at me...

    But Butt refused the cookie because he wasn't stupid. Or, ya know @The Forumlurker, you could just do that, being a Narrator... I of all people know how cruel we can be. It's about time someone said something.

    But the Narrators didn't want that to happen, so they took away his Shard, beat him up, stole all his money, and left him in a dim alley. Definitely dim and not dark.

    Star wasn't sure if it was still true, but she definitely remembered that Butt had been Adonalsium before...

    Star smiled. "All I mean to say is not to mess with my characters. That doesn't end well for anyone. I tend to spiral into dramatics."

    "Pheonix..." Star muttered, looking over Shadow's body. "Are you afraid of me?"

    I didn't expect that to work. Star didn't wait and shoved her spear through Shadow's chest before she could recover.

    Star's iron shield was tough enough to repel those. Now that she smacked Shadow on the side of the head with the edge of her shield.

    Star's forcefield took care of that. She kept running, shield bared.

    Star took notice of the new Narrator. When she won, she would have to greet him. Hopefully, he would understand what she was.

    These were special bullets though. Bullets that fused to the swords' blades. It entered them and made their steel crumble. Star took her chance and ran toward Shadow, her shield protecting her. She also held her spear out, ready to run Shadow through.
