  1. Meanwhile, from her forcefield, Sophie sang quietly. My hope is blood on broken glass A shattered hole, a scattered past And I can't wake up cause the darkness won't let go And I can't wake up cause the darkness is taking hold Everything is lost And this nightmare's closing in Everything is lost There's a sorrow beneath my skin This is the end of me This is the end of me There are angels and demons at war inside my chest The good and the evil are fighting to possess And I can't stand up as the ground shakes underneath And I can't stand up as the Earth gives under me Everything is lost And this nightmare's closing in Everything is lost There's a sorrow beneath my skin This is the end of me This is the end of me Everything is lost And this nightmare's closing in Everything is lost There's a sorrow beneath my skin This is the end of me This is the end of me
  2. Almost halfway through with those! I'm pretty happy with how they've been turning out so far. My goal is to finish the Sharders by my Shardiversary.
  3. Y'all, I just made this drawing a million times better.
  4. From the album: The Longest Thread (Misadventures)

Alright, I admit this isn't my best drawing (mostly due to Heather's face)... but it's also significant. To me, at least. Up until this point, I have pretty much only drawn people standing up. I decided to experiment with poses and, well, this turned out far better than I expected. Ember especially turned out quite nicely, though she should be a bit bigger, as she's quite tall. This isn't really a specific scene, but I just wanted to try and capture the awkwardness of Ember and Heather's interactions aboard Tom's ship, Cloud Base Nine. I can only imagine how their friendship will progress, what with Astral's future set-up for Ember and Heather's whole Inquisitor situation. However, I do hope the two can continue to bond over their flaws and disparity from the other members of the CBST crew.

  6. Ember felt something stir within her as Star awoke. With that came the realization that she had been sitting here for... two days? Time was strange. Somehow, she had shut herself out of her mind, putting herself in stasis of some sort. She shook her head, slowly coming back to clarity. She stretched her legs out in front of her, annoyed by how stiff her body was. She clasped her hands together and stretched them over her head, rolling her neck as she did so. When she put her arms back down, her eyes fell upon the mirror again. She frowned. Ember... she thought to herself. That is Ember. The Destroyer got down on her hands and knees and crawled to the piece of reflective glass, making sure to grow her shell on the places touching the floor. She stared at herself, at her big glass eyes and strange, rocky skin. After blinking a few times, she sat on her knees and reverently reached a hand out to touch the mirror's surface with her shelled hand. Her fingers trembled as she laid them against the cool surface. Ember, she thought again. The Destroyer. Protector of the Sun. The Warrior... Star... Pheonix.... massive hug... and kissed him. A shudder than through Ember's body and she jerked just slightly. Words began to run through her head. Sophie... A flash of blue. Tears on her face. Blackness... coming... closer... She felt so alone. So cold. So trapped and afraid. Something screamed. The next voice was whispery. It sounded... cracked. Like a broken mirror. When I'm done... Oh, when I'm done. Star will rip Pheo's still beating heart from his pale chest! She will be Queen once more, she will REIGN over you filthy commoners. You have no idea what you've done... When I'm done... When I'm done with her... Pheo and Star's kiss broke off and the vision ended. Ember gasped for air. What in the thread? She frantically felt around the ship with her mind for the blue and black ones she had heard in the vision. They could not be found. It was as if they did not exist. Star seemed happy enough. Pheo was there with her, so that made sense. Heather, however, was in great distress. Ember cringed. Slurred pain and sorrow radiated from the girl. She felt a drive to help her, but then she remembered her rejection and her soul shrunk. A crash sounded down the hall. A few moments later, Star's melody changed. Star... Oh! Ember had an idea. Star could help Heather. Heather liked Star better than Ember, so it would work. Her mind still a little cloudy from the vision, she sent a mental pulse toward her master, bidding her to help the girl. Ember smiled and laid on her back, sighing. Her limbs felt heavy, but perhaps she had done something good. Something good to help Heather. A feeling of urgency ran through Star's limbs. She needed to help Heather now. The feeling was overwhelming and actually made tears rise in her eyes. "Pheo, she needs me now! What if she gets hurt what if Ruin... Oh, we're wasting time!" Star took off in a dash toward Heather's mental signature, praying to TVG that Heather was even somewhat okay. She tried not to picture the possibilities. Why hadn't anyone woken her? Why hadn't they helped Heather?! Growling, she ran harder, trusting that Pheo would follow.
  7. From the album: Fallen

Tamika has gone through several different stages in her life. Here's three of 'em.
  8. Oh my Shards, I can't unsee that now. But cats are more soft! Little dogs are aggressive and big dogs can't fit in your lap. Cats are quiet and sweet.
  9. 9/10 Lerasium is the best allomantic symbol and purple is the best color... But I'm taking off a point because cats are better.
  10. "Leave me ALONE!" Sophie screamed, holding her head. She had had enough. She didn't know what to do. Her entire form trembled. She felt so alone. So cold. So trapped and afraid. She started to hyperventilate, her anxiety getting the best of her.
  11. Sophie was shivering. She could hardly keep her forcefield up anymore. If she kept it up, she might faint. And if she fainted, she couldn't protect herself. If she fainted, the withergeists would kill her. She wasn't sure if she wanted that or not.
  12. Because TLT was terrible at continuity. This wasn't a big deal. Except when it was. Like when it meant that Sophie had been in a forcefield for the last 5 years, with absolutely no human contact. TVG folded her arms, eyebrow raised in revulsion.
  13. No one liked him that much anyway. In the end, he just decided to...
  14. And he was quite unhappy at not receiving an invitation.
  15. And they invited all the fairies in the land! Except for one.
