I really enjoy the WoB episodes! I am looking forward to new topics though!
Long before I did much scouring of the internet I new that SA was going to be 10 books - I adamantly refused to read them for nearly 5 years because of that. However, I had previously read other series that I later found out were going to be longer than I hoped, so I may have gotten in the habit of checking how long a series was supposed to be, and the status of that series. Also, back in 2012/2013 when I first heard about SA, Brandon was not very far along, another reason I would not read it. Clearly, I have seen the Light and am starting a second reread of Way of Kings! Basically, I agree with whomever was lamenting people not knowing it's going to be a 10 book series.
While y'all were talking about the the series as a whole and the two 5 book arcs, a knot began to form in my stomach as I started actually considering that some of the characters I love will not make it to the second arc. :'( I think knowing it's inevitable that some die is worse than not knowing, so maybe I would've been better off not ever scouring the internet for information, that way I would read hoping everyone lived, verses anxiously reading waiting to see which ones will die. Oh, my heart!

I was having these same thoughts, and found this word of Brandon:

In addition, my thought is then, stab the Mistborn, have all 4 physical powers in the spike, split that spike into 4 pieces and then stab in the correct bind points so that you get all 4 physics powers (or respectively cognitive, spiritual or temporal). This would work right? I guess the question is, is one fully powered spike granting one power better/stronger than 4 partially powered spikes granting 4 different powers?

Adolin! I agree with what’s been said about him before, and he’s kind to everyone. I love his interactions with bridge four! I was definitely split between Adolin and Kaladin until the end of OB when there was that moment she Veil kinda takes over and nearly spurns Adolin for Kaladin, I just found myself vocally saying “no, no, no, No, No, NO!” And that was when I realized my true love for Adolin. I’m convinced he is good for Shallan, less convinced she’s good for him and that makes me worried.
Jasnah is definitely my woman crush. She’s amazing, strong, and inspiring.

Until I listened to the audiobooks I read Moash as Mosah... I’m not sure how I managed to swap the s and a every time
I still sometimes have problems with his name if I’m not looking at the text or someone doesn’t say it first!

22 hours ago, Singer said:
I love Kimmalyn. Her personality is a cross between Alabama and Minnesota, but her name is all Utah.
Yes. So Utah!
This is the first reactions podcast I’ve listened to and I loved it. There was so much more excitement emanating from you all than other podcasts, and before listening I’m not sure I would’ve believed that possible. My favorite part was @Chaos explaining how part 5 was a Brandon avalanche - your voice alone was so animated! I’m sure it would’ve been more fun to watch!

Gavilar’s black sphere... what has made you all determine it’s most likely voidspren/light and not an unmade? I just missed the connection from the WoB to that decision. I’m also new around here, so it just might be a lack of knowledge of my part! Thanks!

Found shardcast a couple months ago and I’m loving it! Was on the stair stepper while listening to this episode and didn’t know if the tears were from doing cardio or because y’all were talking about Jasnah and Renarin’s Oathbringer moment! (Seeing as I also had watery eyes during the previous podcast while you were talking about Evie’s effect on her family, I’m gonna guess it was the latter!)
Thanks for doing such a good job talking about these relationships!

@thegatorgirl00 have you posted your summary somewhere on the forums? It was great! I would love to read it again and share with some friends if that’s ok?
