    Heather relaxed, and drifted off into a deep sleep.

    There was a loud snap after Ruin was ripped from her mind. The decayed burns had already appeared, however… Heather looked completely lifeless, except for the up and down of her chest. You could physically hear the ragged breaths that sounded nothing like Heather.

    With Shadow’s mind free, she stepped in and took the brunt from Star. I’ll live, don’t worry. And with that, the Splinter of Ruin was gone. Ripped from Shadow’s mind.

    It screamed, and it knew this was the end. So it funneled the rest of the destruction on the BoS, making the burns worse. A lot worse. Permanently. TVG might be able to fix some of it, but Shadow would never fully recover.
