Grix laughed. We was sand master, riding a sandling, with spikes through his eyes, enhancing his power. He was already blind already you see, so they didn't compermsie his senses. He was now one of the most powerful sand masters in history. His sandling, Bloodstorm, was outfitted with sanding plate armor, had spikes for durability against cold, durability against water, strength, for carrying extra people, and speed. Grix was evil. Even without the spikes, he would have thrown in with Ruin, just because he liked breaking things. Through in Bloodstorm, and his enhanced abilities, and he was loyal to the end. He was simply waiting for Ruin's call to arms.

TUBA - The Underground Bakers' Association
Darth Woodrack replied to Stormblessed Dolphin's topic in The Alleyverse
"I would trust the DA to not let the world be destroyed," Dusk spoke up, "And then I would trust them to use this opportunity where we have over extended ourselves to annihilate us in our moment of weakness," "From a purely military standpoint, align with the DA would be an excellent idea," Walker replied calmly, "But from a moral, practical, and future thinking standpoint, it is not a very good one. With the DA with use, we would have difficulty limiting collateral damage, not to mention our drastically different morals. How do you expect TUBA members, who have thrown off Hemalurgy, and view it as varying levels of evil, to go into battle side by side with the DA? We would have to watch our back the entire time, and that would compromise our combat effectiveness. Not to mention the point Dusk put out. We can't trust them not to stab us in the back." NPCs erupted in agreement, and Walker yelled over them, "BUT," They quieted down, "If the fate of the entire world is in the balance, DA and TUBA untied would be so strong that any drawbacks that come with it, would be washed away. If the world will end if we don't do this, then what does it matter if TUBA will be betrayed after it ends? If they destroy our guild after we saved the world, at least we saved the world. We will finally have done something to help the people of Alleyplanet, not exploit them. And, either way, guild ends. We need to take this chance to save the world, while we still have it. I support an alliance with the DA, if it is the only way to save this planet, and all the people on it." -
"Thank you Lady Agatha, for clearing that up. Then, I put my full support behind this bill. Thel, do you approve," Doomhorn looked at Thel. "Yes. Now I can go get food. My epic powers help me survive without it, btu a week sitting here waiting to see whether or not I could do my job makes me incredibly hungry," Thel left to get lunch.

"Good lady, I have two questions. The first is, what exactly is your name? The second is, are you confirming what I said in the fact that Thel will still be the Director of the Precursors, but the head of defense would be in charge of them, and any other groups, such as the canton, who would regulate other types of threats, or are you saying that Thel will no longer be director?" Doomhorn asked, earnestly. @Ark1002

@Ark1002 Szeth nodded and plunged towards the defenders, and rammed through one with Nightblood, and division surged another in the face. @Gancho Libre

Doomhorn questioned, "Just to be clear, this isn't putting Thel out of a job is it? It's just putting someone as a liaison between the Precursors and the government, to which any other organizations that focus on defense would also answer to?"

"Yes, but the directors are Thel, Terrel, and whoever we put in charge. I suggest someone friendly to the Church of the Whiterose and Keepers, so they are not underrepresented," Doomhorn answered.

TUBA - The Underground Bakers' Association
Darth Woodrack replied to Stormblessed Dolphin's topic in The Alleyverse
Dusk walked in, with Walker in tow. "Is this about Plasma Tech," Dusk said, "If so, I need to know how to prepare my mine, and citizens for the inevitable massive fallout." "Why did you mention your mine first?" Walker asked. "Well, if I lose my mine, I can't support my citizens, can't provide a source of millions of Christs to TUBA, and can't help the poor citizens of Alleycity. So, mine comes first," Dusk said. -
"I second the Precursors being government run in accord to their current goals, and would like to point out the fact that one of the three slots of leaders are open to appointment, with Thel and [INSERT WHATEVER CHARACTER SHERLOCK PUTS IN THIS SPOT HERE] are already in place," Doomhorn said.

Doomhorn stood up, was pulled back down and said, "You are not a senator, so you cannot second anyone. Now, before we talk about a chancellor, can we talk about the Precursors, to enforce the laws you just confirmed? They have been pushed back for far to long."

Szeth flew into the air, holding knightblood. He looked down at the defenders, and cried. But, he had sworn himself to Dalinar, and these were Dalinar's orders. He scanned the crowd for radiants to kill. Amaram laughed. He was slaughtering. He sent waves of destruction through defenders, turned them to air, and blinded tgem with waves of light. He brushed off anything they attempted to do to him, and bashed his enemies away. Tear popped through a portal, his arm missing, "Well, that anger spren was unhappy," He said, completely unfazed by his missing limb, "I guess it's part of their jo- HOLY DAMNATION WHAT HAS GONE WRONG HERE?! I WAS ONLY GONE A COUPLE THOUSAND YEARS!" @Ark1002

As I said, in the post you were quoting. Oh. I haven't read calamity in a while. I agree.

Yes, Whipper is the only canceller epic we've seen, but his powerset was completely unknown to Meghan, who admittedly isn't that good of a reference point, but if canceler epics, especially canceler epics who could strip epics of prime invincibilities, would be anything more than a one off super epic who is long dead. Also, completely unrelated, but do we have proof that assumer epics exist beyond Larcener, because Larcener was actually a giver, taking back his powers?

Whipper is the most powerful canceler that we have seen is Whipper, and it is specifically stated that he couldn't strip prime invincibilities. A leecher could definitely do that, though they would have to keep their hand on them the entire time, if leechers can strip the prime invincibilities. True that he could destroy it. Calamity, if you look a Obliteration, Steelheart, Doc, and then you release that this was one small section of north america, and these were some powerful epics, where as calamity still had enough power to absolutely wreck every epic on the planet, and you have enough power to destroy earth, scadrial, and roshar, without breaking a sweat.

I think we should revisit the divide on Investiture and Epic powers. I mean, this isn't a serious issue for me, but it seems like we have time, so I would like to clarify the relationship. Is Epic power treated as another form of investiture, or is it treated as if it can be affected by it? If it is treated as a form of investiture, where does the power come from? If it can be affected by it, how? To what extent?
