  1. Cosmere, and seeing The story so far: One time, when a Mistborn was going to a Dragonwasp Legion meeting, he saw a grey Shardbearer in a dark alley, brutally slitting open a gigantic watermelon with a rusty Sliver of Honor. So, of course, the Mistborn burned the watermelon, lighting the Shardbearer's cape on fire, blue flames concealing it from his view. The Shardbearer turns into a duck, ripping open the cosmere, and seeing

  4. Dragonwasp Legion meeting.
  5. This is a *VERY rough draft of a are arcanum type diagram of the powers. The inner circle are the pales. The middle in each color are the vibrants. The ones with two colors are the inbetween ones. Sorry now the image is there
  6. Oh, I see, it would depend how far off the colors were. If one was a pale and the other a vibrant then they would be able to do half as much with each. At least in this magic system, white is white, gray is not white. Gray is a darkeye, same for brown and black Edit: Anyone feel free to ask questions like these. As I answer questions, it solidifies and clarifies itself in my head
  7. Answers -I'm not sure about brown eyes yet. I can't decide if they should have a power or not. -I think the majority of the people would be darkeyes with a minority of say 20% of people in the world being coloreyes. -There are different eye colors on this planet than earth. For example, yellow, red, orange, purple, white. I'm thinking something like a color wheel where you choose a color (on photoshop for instance and there are 2-4 sections for each color depending on how you define them. There is a vibrant of each color(water moving,in the example), a pale of each color(water freezing), and an inbetween color for each side of the circle, if that makes sense. So blue has vibrant, pale, blue green, and indigo. Purple would have vibrant, pale, indigo, and maroon. Etc. the central colors are blue, purple, red, orange, yellow, and orange. There is also white, but there are no shades of that. -Colored contacts are a smart idea and would probably have been used on this planet -The gold thing is interesting, I'm not sure about it. -I don't understand the last one
  8. Thanks guys!
  9. My boss at work. She saw a name on the computer and it reminded her of Mistborn. She knew I liked reading and asked if I'd ever read them. I hadn't. She brought me Elantris to borrow the next day. After that, I was hooked and read the rest of his books I rapid succession
  10. Are you serious? And here I was, thinking I was all original now that i look it up, it is pretty similar
  11. What do you guys think about a magic system based on eye color? This is a very rough idea right now. For example, blue eyes would control water, but different shades would control different things. Light blue eyes would be able to freeze water, bright, vibrant blue would be able to manipulate water telekinetically, etc. the rarer the eye color, the rarer and more valuable the power. I'm thinking there might be a kind of dark eyes/light eyes thing going on from TWoK where brown eyes have no power or a very limited, weak power, and colorful eyes have more important ones. Also, there would be combination stuff. For instance, if blue controls water and green eyes, for lack of a better word can "see" (X-ray vision, read minds, etc.) then blue-green eyes would be able to see as far as they need as long as its through water.
  12. Hoid. If you Awaken Lerasium, then draw an Aon while holding it and then infuse it with Stormlight and swallow it, you become Hoid
