Iva appeared next to Novus in his hospital bed. She didn't look very pleased. "Look here, the Hata Honda are very displeased with you and the way how you performed, especially Unan and Karu, get your act back together. I don't have time for this, as ironic as that may sound. The Honda think you are leaning a lot towards Abhi and thats a problem." Novus just gave her a weak nod, he didn't have much else to say. He patched up the wound and went looking for the guy in command, apparently called Astiel.

“So what’s the action plan for when we actually enter their base? Maybe Vesvius or Frob will attempt to escape.” He asked. “They will probably have another exit because it would be kind of dumb to just have one entrance and exit incase you get blocked in”.

Neo followed devaan down the trapdoor. “So, this is where he is?”, feeling a bit dumb as he probably should’ve already suggested that. ”Devaan, I’ll stick with you for the time being”. He didn’t want to mess up again. He also started placing some flowers down so that they wouldnt get lost.

Neo was removing some slickness to the walls to make a hidden button easier to press. “Devaan, if there’s an underground base, shouldn’t it be under the sewer system? Tell me if you need some abrasion, I’m happy to help”. Maybe there would be an exit in the sewer water but no way Neo was going down there. @Nohadon

“Yeah I joined the canton, they sent me here right as I applied for the operations team. I just hope we didn’t lose Frob because of what happened.” he replied.

Neo blushed, feeling a little bit embarrased. “Yeah... I kinda did although I took the wrong tunnel”. He didn’t really know what else to say due to his incompetence, he needed to be more serious or else he would be killed.

he stepped back from the top daggers but didn't bother dodging the one flying from behind.

Novus reacted with precision and stepped to the side to catch it mid air. "Inopinatum expectes", he said. He checked if there was anything else to be found and continued.

Novus entered the secret passage way that slanted downwards.

Neo was a little disappointed in himself. He knew he was wrong and that it kind of went out of hand, and considering max was his superior it was not a great first impression. Anyhow, he was making sure to be more careful now, he didn't want to look like a complete idiot. In the end he just weakly said, "sorry, I'll try to do better next time. I hope the guy we're after didn't escape."

Novus looked inside of the empty walling trying to find anything else there.

Neo, finally used nearly all of his strength pulling the knife out, allowing for him to properly start healing. Athlea approached them threatening them to leave and at that moment two nicrosil cards penetrated each thug and exploded. After a couple of seconds the wound was healed and Neo could move again. There were still four thugs but the explosion scared them off so they ran away. Neo handed the spheres, unused back to Althea and said “We should go back, see how Devaan is doing”. He dropped some seeds and blocked the tunnel off with huge vines incase they would want to return to stir up trouble. He thought Althea had some way of getting back too so he started skating. Neo skated back to the beginning and found Devaan there, thinking I guess I’m not that good at following people ”Hehe, so... what did you find?”, he said awkwardly realizing he probably wasted quite some time.

Neo noticed suddenly that Althea was there and let out a silent sigh. He didn’t make it apparent that Althea was there. Instead he shouted “Wow! What a shame that theres a feruchemist and allomancer here!”. He skated towards the exit, he just had to made it towards Althea, just a lit— Neo fell to the ground grasping for air as the overwhelming pain in his thigh excruciated him. He had a dagger in his thigh but the pain was too extreme for him to do anything. damnation nightwatcher, he thought as the 2 people blocking the exit advanced on him.

Neo, walked further down the tunnel. Eventually he found a group of 4 people with weapons and tattoo’s up ahead. Hmm... maybe they’ll know where Frob is. Neo slowly but cautiously headed over there. He glowed a lot more less with stormlight now, although he still had spheres left, he just wanted to be careful. As he got closer they all turned towards eachother with an evil grin and one of them looked at him and said, “Hey kid, are you lost? We can help you if you want”, he looked creepily at Neo. “Oh, no thanks I was just wondering if you guys know where frob is, maybe this will clear up your mind a little?” Neo said while he was holding some spheres. The guy had an evil smile and said “Do you really think we can’t take it from you?”. Next thing Neo knew he was radiant with stormlight, growing vine after vine hindering them, skating through the sewer system dodging again and again. He saw with his left eye that one of them had allomancy and another feruchemy but he didnt have time to focus on what specifically. He went turbo, going at an extreme speed, toe jump after flip, after Lutz, after edge jump, after Salchow. He kept dancing around their attacks, evading them. If I dont leave now, I wont have enough stormlight for Frob and that other guy, he thought. To his surprise however, the exit was blocked by another two tho thugs. Seems like they really wanted him and his spheres. Neo was stuck.

Novus kept his pace moderately well, he followed him through the main reception and into the backroom. Iva was happy with his progress.

Novus said “alright then, I guess I will wait”. After all, there wasn’t really background they could check. ———————————- Neo was happy that he would be on his first mission, he went into the canton to drop his stuff, put on his skates and headed straight for the sewer system.

Neo thought, “Do you really think we should leave him alone? I’ll be there just incase if he needs help, it wouldn’t hurt”. Neo inhaled some of his stormlight and went and skated again. After all, he was more of a healer than a direct fighter, he could help Devaan out. He suddenly saw the tunnel split into three, “Huh, which one would he go to. I bet he did eeny, meeny, miny, moe.” He ended up going into the middle tunnel, looking for Devaan.

Oh God I did not think this through did I, he thought. He took a seed of thick Vines and grew them immensely to block one of the figures off. Neo then did an axle jump followed by a roundhouse kick mid-way through and knocked the other figure out. Not to his surprise, he appeared to have blocked himself off with the grown vine. Great, now I still have one of them left and the guy has yet to stab me, which wouldn't be good.

Neo noticed Athlea was hurt and touched her with his healing. After that he skated with extreme speeds towards the lone man that stood there.

Novus spoke first, "Why yes, I'm Novus Incipit, no powers that you would care about anyways, I am rather skilled at hand-to-hand combat but am most profound in my wit, knowledge, and scholarship. I do have an accommodation indeed so you need not to worry about that". He then stepped to the side, and was apparently waiting for him to speak too. "Oh I'm Neo, just Neo. I am a second oath edge dancer with a bestowers blood monocle and a nightwatcher boon. Oh and I don't have anywhere else to go, so I would like to stay in the canton building. I would like to go for operations". Neo was a bit nervous due to a lot of skilled people being from the canton, he just hoped he would fit in.

Neo tried to look at his investiture but couldn't spot anything, his left eye stopped glowing and he whispered to athlea "I don't trust his tone, give me the a-ok and i'll subdue him".

Neo inhaled a more stormlight slowly and had three vine seeds in his right palm. Is he going to run? Or is he going to help? Neo was ready to chase him if things got sticky.

Neo immediately stopped his skates, trying to listen nearby all the while staying in the middle of the group. He held his hand on his pouch with his different seeds and monacle, awaiting further instruction.

Neo stepped forward infront of Novus. “I would like to be in operations because I feel like I would add a lot to the operations section.” =================== Novus cutt off Neo before he could finish and added “Oh and I would like to go for intelligence”. Nirma looked over towards him and said “Okay great, now you’re in”. Novus gave her a nod.
