I always thought aluminum feruchemy worked the same as copper, you stored a part of your personality permanently and could draw it out later, like copper memories.

Well on the theory, szeths blade was end negative: Well shardblades have investiture in huge ammounts, and they destroy it as well when they severe the spirit web? So presumably all humans have a small amount of investiture. So what if Szeths blade was made by stealing investiture by taking it from humans? (with a parallel to hemulurgy going on here) <-yay baseless theory yay

Wouldn't that be a good use for bendalloy, fill it while your drinking to get drunker faster, then draw on it later to get over the hangover XD

Surely, by storing thirst while drinking alcohol you would amplify its effects, by dehydrating yourself more?

Lets not forget the Dawnsingers, who supposedly sung the cites into existence.

Its been said, hema involves ripping out a huge chunk of someones spirit web, and nailing it to someone else. Even if there's no physical harm, there soul would be ripped to shreds. Same as why you cant take two spikes from one person.

Well if it was for tablets, possibly use the touch screen for the basic lines of warding, vigour and forbidance. But for the creation of chalklings, possibly just have them place able from a quick select of ones you've ready made, and each would have a set time to create?

Not on the inside of the body and the inquisitors would see that the metals were inside the body, and also too large to be swallowed.
It would be a mater of depth perception, at a glance they could necessarily tell they were inside the body.

To be fair, how many other Nobles would have random pieces of metal piercing them and just leave them?
They could be pieces of jewelry or daggers? Or even vials of metals.

I thought it said TLR could tell a kandra, not inquisitors
but inquisitors being the case, being able to see the lines to the spikes wouldnt help, They couldnt tell that they hema spikes, just pieces of metal?
It could be another double spiked ability, like piercing copper clouds. Maybe double brass or zinc?

Ok so as a gift for my friend I'm getting a lighter engraved with the allomantic table of elements
I just need a plain version of it saved as a JPEG, and I've been unable to find/make one in paint.
I tried basing it off this one http://coppermind.net/w/images/Metal_wheel.jpg but my editing skills are limited :/
Could anyone help?

Well sazed used metal minds that we're shot into him (his rings in the well of ascension) so it seems plausible that a misting could burn metals that were inside them.

There is no onscreen "fit" and I don't recall him ever mentioning the timing. However there is the instance of Dalinar and Renarin riding into a barracks just in time for a highstorm. Dalinar wakes up to find a concerned Renarin and soldier's holding him down. I don't remember for sure, but there may be other instances of Renarin being present when Dalinar wakes up. I think if Renarin had fits during highstorms as well, he wouldn't be able to keep it a secret. That would certainly come up in discussions about Dalinar's visions.
You raise a good point.

He says it is a blood sickness. I don't think it is visions like Dalinar.
Just because it says it, doesn't make it true. The blood sickness and the fits could be unrelated, I haven't done reread in weeks, is there any scenes where renarin has fits? Does it mention the timings of them?

Dalinar mentions that Renarin has "fits", which probably means he has epilepsy as well.
Fits, like when Dalinar has fits when he has his visions...? I spy a coincidence? Or something important?

On the grounds of allomancy and feruchemy being genetic, could it be possible for a ferichemist misting to be born, or a mistborn ferring.
Assuming it was possible, and you could be a full blown misting/feruchemist and a ferring/misting, which metals would you choose?

I'm going paint the symbol for tin on my friends all in glow in the dark paint.
When they ask about it I can say its rather spooky.

Time travel is unlikely two people existing at once is an issue, but it also violates the law of conservation of energy. time travel forward is almost exactly like Duralumin and cadmium or just cadmium. Even Atium's shadows can be countered and only show likely paths not what will happen in the future. The shards don't appear to actually have a fourth dimensional existence or some way to flow through time. Any shard that noticed this would probably destroy any one who found out due to the potential danger.
As a possible alternative it could send your mind back or forward, so there still is only one of you. And it could take a huge ammount of investiture to move, so say a large bead of the metal could only send you back a few seconds.

Is the healing provided by drawing on gold specific? Such as, you consciously choose what to heal, or is it just everything heals faster?

What if two of the alloys were...time travel. One could send you forward, the other backwards.
Two could affect your age, making you younger and older.
There could be an opposite of atium, where there's an atium trail of where they just were. (useless but a plausible idea)
One could give you visions of the future, or past?
One could even stop time?
one could let you regenerate

Question 1, can a shard blade be broken? By say, another shardblade, or being snapped by someone in shardplate (or maybe a nightblood)
Question 2, if one was broken if and how could it be fixed? Would it simply reform as it was summoned?

Because my friend hates puns, so surely the most pleasant thing to do is to send them as many as I can.
Help?

I see the lost blades turning up in a situation similar to the end of The hero of ages, suddenly turning up to turn an army into a badass army of death machines.

The ultimate defense against chalklings?

Is there a possibility of a material chalklings cant move across? I mean, have you tried writing with chalk on glass or other surfaces? I'm sure it says somewhere the surface depends on how durable the chalkings are...
