    Myriad ran though the doorway, wincing internally at how late she was. Black hair fell around her shoulders, and she wore good quality clothing - she’d wanted to make sure these people thought of her well, and in her experience, everyone reacted to looks first and any other information they learned second; at least in most cases. She hadn’t actually had the chance to see what the eye color of this woman was, as she’d Bolted into her while her back was turned. Trotting up to the pretty woman who looked like she was in charge and born for the job, she said quickly, “I’m sorry, I know I’m late, but I was hoping to join ACE - this is the right room, right? It has to be, this is where everyone said it was. Anyway, I wanted to go down in the tunnels with the groups you’re sending.” @ZincAboutIt

Or was it Probability? She cocked her head at the man who’d suggested that, still not knowing his name, then looked at Sagitta when she asked what had happened to the revived boy’s soul. “I assume he still has it,” she told her. “He’s living, after all, and doesn’t look old enough to have lost it through his own actions.”

    Cassie grinned. “We should probably have more than just cake. Know any good restaurants nearby?”

    “Mmm, okay. Food - should we get caterers, buy a ton of stuff from a restaurant...I don’t think we can make it all on our own.”

    “Well, estimating on the larger end of the spectrum, all of us, plus Ax’s family, plus some random friends who might drop by - I don’t know, fifty people tops? Does that sounds right to you?” She nibbled on her lower lip. “Are you saying a cake with both chocolate and vanilla in it, or two cakes?”

    “No,” she admitted. “Nothing that one of them could be allergic to, I guess. Not that I know if they’re allergic to anything.”

    Gati smiled at Sagitta. “It’s rare to see three people, each of a different nation, talking together like this. It’s also rare for them to be talking about such deep subjects - I assume you talked about more than just instincts, at least. I could be wrong. Anyway, I was interested.” She looked at Tion, wondering vaguely if his motivation had been the same or different, or if he had merely followed what she’d done.

Doc walked into the kitchen, and she bit her lip hard. “Hi,” she said to him quietly. @Sorana @Dr. Dapper
