The last time I rode my scooter, I crashed, bled all over, had a seizure, and I think got a concussion? So, um. No, I don’t do tricks.

Whatever you want it to mean, you’re the one answering And actually it was just frustration backward, I didn’t know it meant that.

Ene looked at Salad warily, wondering if they were a Ghostblood.

Hmm? Ha, yeah, no, I prefer soft things I do not. I took a few piano lessons when I was younger, like a lot of people do, but dropped it after a couple years. I don’t remember much of it now.

TUBA - The Underground Bakers' Association
AonEne replied to Stormblessed Dolphin's topic in The Alleyverse
Ran Modreo, the 26th-best-baker in The Underground Bakers’ Association, heard voices in the main entrance. He considered leaving them be, sure that someone would take care of them, but weighed it against delivering the atium news to even one more person and decided it was time to take a break. He turned down the hall, opened the door at the end, and gave his most welcoming smile to the waiting pair. “Hello and welcome, I’m Ran,” he said politely. “Did I hear you both ask to join us? Certainly you can, we’ll take almost anyone. May I know your names?” @Soulbinder @mathiau -

How much money will you give me?

That was because I actually had direct quotes I wanted to use from yours I agree with there being little content, just not that there’s not enough to have cliches. Fair enough. (Heh, I’ve thought that too. Heterororororororororororororororororororororororo...) I have encountered more people believing in that stereotype than not (though I haven’t talked about it with many people who already knew what the terms were, without having me explain it to them). Both sides are important: a variety needs to be shown. The spectrum of romantic attraction and asexuality is varied and complicated, just like all sexuality.

“Not everyone’s. You were in the right position, and could be contacted. And I think you have the right skillset for what needs to be done.” It looked at him seriously. “You know how to do things precisely, and things are going to be very delicate. Hopearaa is in danger.”

Yep, I pretty much agree with both points. I don’t understand what you’re referring to with that; I don’t remember Brandon ever doing what JKR did in that respect. He promised he would write LGBTQIAP+ characters, not that he already had. Trust me, you definitely can. And one of the big ones is that ace and aromantic are the same thing, as well as that all aces are averse to sex. Which you perpetuated just a little in your post. But aside from that, I agree with what you said and am totally on board for Brandon to write an ace character, whether they’re also aro or not.

“Ah, no.” First smiled in the same way Last had, one expression simply becoming the next with no movement. “That, I am not. I am not human, as they are. I am also unlike them in that I know what my purpose is; I am here to usher in beginnings, to be the start. Something is happening to the world, Price, and I need to make sure it goes a certain way - or else the results will not be good. For that I need assistance; information which I cannot get on my own, and perhaps nudges in the right direction. And...” It stopped speaking, a look of consideration flashing over its face before it returned to a smile. “Well, for now, just those things. You might think of it like an experiment using the world. Would you be willing to help me with that?”

What I personally mean when I say this is that authors shouldn’t be inclusive just to jump on the bandwagon and get praised, if that makes sense? I don’t want someone to be inclusive for selfish reasons. The above is...actually a fact...like, by definition, if there aren’t minorities, then the work is not inclusive of those minorities. It doesn’t include them. Implying that that stance is an opinion is simply incorrect. This is also something I’ve noticed, and it’s exhausting. People rebel against other people who are trying to make more progress, saying there’s already enough and now you’re just going too far. *sighs* So long as we still need to have these discussions, it won’t be too far. If you don’t want to participate in making the progress, that’s unfortunate, but at least let other people do what they want with their time without going “ugh that’s so unnecessary”. I agree with this, and I don’t think anyone here is disagreeing with it. People should include representation, but if they don’t, that’s their decision. It’s their content to do with as they like.
