I agree with you that whoever does the work gets the say as to where it goes and if they do the workI hope they do well. I will be the first to admit I am not willing to do the work for this so that is one reason why it wont be happening in NC, along with not a large enough fan base, but I know there is also a large fan base in Seattle/Portland. I personally wish it would be the Seattle/Portland but I'm not the one that would be doing the work, so that doesn't do much than to say this would be my vote.

Utah already has one, SLCcon. I think brandon went there recently, so if this is going to happen it would need to be outside of Utah since it would be the same people that go to SLC con and most people wouldn't do both.

While I would support an East coast thing, I think most people on here are from the Utah area/Washington State. So I think East coast would be a stretch for most people.

David also says he turned down the Epic powers, so I think and hope he is not an epic. I honestly almost put the book down right away when I got to that part because it would have changed everything of who david was in the series, a normal person that fought powerful people. For me, making David an epic changes it too much.

I personally hope this isn't true. One of the appeals about this series to me is that someone is normal, not having powers, not having anything special about them.

Would the healing kill him though? We have in HoA that the heart changed position in Inquisitors and the brain accommodates the spikes. So in theory it would be just changing Marsh around to the correct anatomy which we see he can do when he changes all of the other people to be how they should be. So then it becomes an issue of hemalurgy changing the person. In HoA Spook and the Citizen have their minor spikes removed and are fine, but Marsh has much larger spikes and about 20 of them. To me this all boils down to the physical can be healed by Harmony, we have evidence of this. The spiritual may not be able to be healed though. Harmony says he can't bring back Vin and Elend's souls, so is he simply not able to heal the spiritual DNA the hemalurgy damages (and Marsh had a ton of damage done)? I was hoping Brandon's tour would bring him near me, but that is not happening. Anyone planning to go and want to ask Brandon about this?

When Sazed became Harmony, why didn't he just heal him and make him what he was before he became an inquisitor? Do we have any WoB telling us why Harmony healed Spook, but not Marsh?

Why are people upset that the game is not on WiiU? Most AAA games are not on all three consoles, if Nintendo gets a AAA game, it's one their own studios develop or is a Nintendo exclusive almost every time.

I've met Card a few times over the years and I can tell you the review is just who he is. You have to be willing look past how he says some things because like all of us he sometimes comes across in a different way than he intends but his heart is in the right place. I think he threw in the write things down because that was why Brandon was brought in to finish Wheel of Time and was the primary reason it took as long as it did, because Jordan was scrambling to write down what he wanted and didn't have everything planed. More than likely he was trying to make a joke about Jordan. I agree we don't have to worry about this with Brandon, but I wouldn't let yourself get too bent out of shape about Card. Is he patronizing? Yes. I think Card is just truly a fan like we are and wants things to end the way Brandon envisions because no one has done what Brandon is doing with the Cosmere and because of that if something does happen we will never know. But I think Brandon writes fast enough and has enough planned that we will not run into the Jordan issue. I think I remember reading Brandon saying that 36 is a soft number as well and it could grow.

I was wondering if any of you plan to be playing Destiny on the PS4 when i comes out. I was thinking of making a clan for 17th shard but I wanted to come up with a name that was more creative than just "17th Shard". So any suggestions from people with Playstation?

Peter, How does the US tour stuff work? The WoR tour is not too close to me, 5 hours is the closest, so I'm sure I'll see him on a future tour. But does Tor just give him x number of cities and let yall plan it or do they chose? Is it getting places that will fly him out like the international visits? I know he came to Raleigh, NC before so hopefully he will again on a future tour, but that was also the aMoL tour when he was touring like a mad man.

I agree that it does seem like Kaladin will become the champion, but you think there will be new Heralds all together? None will reform once Honor is put back together?

I don't think Odium will be defeated in the first 5. I see it more like at the end of book 5 Dalinar will become the new Honor (possibly only gaining a splinter instead of the entire shard) and the next 5 will be him getting ready to take on Odium and gaining the rest of the shard

So if this has been put out there, sorry. I didn't find it in my searches. While I was thinking about Shards and the Cosmere it hit me that in the overall story there is a struggle to rebuild Adonalsium. What if the Stormlight Archive was really about the rebirth of Honor? The splinters will eventually have to be reformed into a shard, and who better to be the reborn shard than Dalinar? He already has Tanvast visiting him and his character leans towards Honor anyway. Afterall Harmony is going to need someone to work with down the road. Thoughts?

I would think 4, since it would be a great segway to Gavilar. The only question would be if it is Elhokar or Darkness. If it is Darkness it would give away his identity for sure. I guess it depends on if we find out who Darkness is in this book or not.

oh really? Ok I guess it may end up just being something like Elhokar, the Parshendi, and Gavilar. I remember when I was here before there was speculation about a Herald that could have been there, but I didn't remember the name and I didn't know of a confirmation that there was definitely a Herald at the party. Although this could be a confirmation assuming it is about Salash and that Szeth carries Jez's Honor blade.
