I am impaired and I hate it.
This morning I went upstairs to get something to eat and I literally couldn't handle it. For those who don't know, I have a lot of sensory issues, particularly with sound. It's the biggest part of my anxiety. I love people to death, but sometimes I literally can't handle noise. It gets to the point sometimes where any small noise at all is piercing and I want to scream and kill something. And for someone with 5 younger siblings... it's too much for me to handle a lot of the time.
I spend most of my time in my room in the basement. And I hate it. I like being alone sometimes and my room is amazing, but it feels like my cage. I don't WANT to stay down here. I WANT to go to activities and be able to hang out with my family, because despite what I try to convince myself, I actually do like being around them quite a bit. But sometimes I literally can't because my STUPID head is so sad and messed up. I hate that people have to accommodate me for me to be normal. I hate that I'm so broken up that sometimes I can't even function. I am such a wreck, you guys. It's not okay.

I cannot read RoW.
I’ve tried to do it so many times now. I’ve even gotten 80 pages into it. But I literally cannot read it. I feel like the words are seen by my eyes but not understood by my head. For some reason my mind just refuses to consume it. I think at this point I don’t even want to read it. I have absolutely no desire to do so. The pressure is put on me by so many people and I’m finding the only reason why I would want to read this book is to please them. Every time I pick the book up, I hate myself for not liking it. It’s just unhealthy and not okay. So…. This is me giving up trying to read it and hurt myself doing so.

Well what I did with Harry Potter 4 was, if I was having trouble paying attention to a particular paragraph, I'd just skip it. Usually you won't miss a lot if you just skip one paragraph. Alternatively, you could get it as an audiobook, and then even if your mind drifts elsewhere and you miss something, it's effectively the same as what I previously suggested. Plus, you can do something else at the same time, like play minecraft or drive, or take a nap or whatever.
Or, yeah, drop it. It's totally up to you.
(And I agree about Shallan. I liked her in WoR, but in the other books she's just boring or annoying. I like her relationship with Hoid though. Then again, I like Hoid's relationship with everyone.)

The Shard hates me. Curse not being able to upload photos in status updates!!! But, I found a way around my technical difficulites.
As I said earlier... "Ya know, drawing Mistborn art is fun, and judging by the fact that I got 17 STORMING UPVOTES for that drawing of Kell... I'm thinking I should give you some more of that stuff. So here are two things I plan to draw."
I freaking love that image of Kell. I always pictured him to be like that in the Well, but my dad said his image was more of a hot tub. I think mine better fits Kell's personality.
