It started with me being excited for the new book. I started doodling this while hanging out with some friends in a coffee shop. I did the pencils and inks in about 2 hours, but it was kinda sloppy. So I took it home and scanned it, then I cleaned up the line art and the composition digitally. Then I colored it in photoshop. All told, maybe 5-6 hours of work. I didn’t do it all at once, though. I finished it up over the course of a couple days in between other projects.

I like to draw Batman smiling, too. It catches people off guard!
