An Old liebrarian walks up to the party island "I'm pretty confused about what is going on, but I would like to join! I'm also in the market for some customizable soulstamps by the way. 30 of them to be exact. I don't suppose you have any of those. Or 20 seons? I like parties a lot."

Edgedancers and Truthwatchers have regrowth, which is more or less the only thing for healing other's I believe. Bloodmakers can heal themselves. Any surgebinder can heal themselves. As far as I know that's all there is.

Ha ha, you totally got me on this one. I stared reading it, and my first reaction was, “But the Lost Metal isn’t out yet....is it?” Then I was like, “oh no it’s out, and I’m reading spoilers! And why are there no spoiler tags? How inconsiderate.” So then I stopped reading the first post for fear of spoilers, and read all the other posts. And then I realized it was a joke. So I went back and read the first post, and it made sense.
I thought about putting spoiler tags to enhance the joke, but then I decided it would make too many people just not click. Glad I got someone though!

Granted. Computer now have no substance for you.
I wish infinity war was already out.

I really didn't want to read Harry Potter, but we couldn't watch the movie til we read the books. So I read it cause I knew there was a giant snake and I wanted to see that giant snake. I loved it a lot. I think end of first grade beginning of second is how long it took me to read all seven. I read most Sanderson stuff at about 10-12.

That depends, are you a Cryptic?
@Kidpen this was the best April Fools day joke I heard this year.
Wow. Clearly you need to see Roku's new Streaming Socks. Or Lucid's Sharebed.

I think WoT is incredibly boring. I got maybe half way through the first one before the temptation for all the other books was too much.
I am also of the opinion that Star Wars are not bad movies, but they are very overhyped. Except for Solo. Which will be amazing.

I was wondering what all of you thought about The Lost Metal. I felt the fact that the sovereign was in fact Stick was a masterstroke on Brandon's Part, and the fact that the Kandra sided with Trell, giving him the Bands of Mourning for his servant Marsh. What did you guys think about the reveal that the inquisitors had in fact just been waiting for the perfect time to strike, until Raoden, Wayne, and Lift went and rooted them out?
[/spoiler]
SpoilerApril fools! And I'm very sorry if anyone was annoyed by this.
And also just sorry in general.

What about Steelrunner and Electrum allomancer. See all the ways you could die, and run away from them. Like Sixth's aviar.

When you desperately try to think of how everything is related to Sanderson so you can post it here. Then you think of this post...

I've noticed that Brandon is very good at magic oriented exposition. He rarely has a tutorial character per se, except in Mistborn and Warbreaker, we are always learning along with the character or just get the gist of it without it having to be told to us. Of course, there needs to be a balance. I had no idea what one of the magic things were at the end of Aether, even when we obviously were suppose too. Just something I've noticed.

I've had this one a long time. Basically, the first thing I signed up for was Club Penguin, and we were trying to come up with a good nickname. We figured, I'm a kid, and apparently a penguin, so kidpenguin. But that was too long, so we shortened it to kidpen. Now I very much identify with that username.

Yeah. Plus another WoB says Autonomy is the opposite of Honor, if I remember correctly
Really? I had also assumed it was dominion and autonomy. Odd.

Don’t want to find it right now, but we know that all the Shards don’t necessarily have opposites. In a WOB

When you postpone something really really important telling people you HAVE to wait for Lost Metal to come out before going on your mission.

That's not postponement, that's just valid waiting.

I've actually but some thought into one I think would be cool:
Power: Can view previous times in the location he is in. Is incapacitated while doing so however.
Weakness: Wearing shorts. (yeah, it's a weird one)
Evil manifestation: Blackmail, secret meetings and stuff.

I want to make sure I'm prepared for the potential storm of joke threads that could come through. Or if it's discouraged I'd like to know so I can not do it as well.
Edit: also, apparently edit's are included in the anti-spam time frame for posts.

Hmm. I like this theory a lot, it's one of the first huge one's I read all the way through, but my main problem is with the thoughts on Feruchemy. Copper and brass are the opposites, but warmth and memories don't seem like opposites. Of course, you didn't look that much into it, so I get that there is not much to theorize about there.

Several months ago I decided to trust the DA cookies since then I have felt a strange sense of loyalty towards them... HELP ME!!! I AM TRAPPED!
This is an interesting idea. It would be rather useless to spike loyalty to the DA out of someone, because that would remove one already loyal member to maybe create another. However, we know for a fact it is possible to heal from Hemalurgic spikes. If we managed to do some compounding of the sense of loyalty perhaps, that might open up some possibilities...
This requires further study!
Edit: Oh, and looking at the specialties, it seems that getting listed as a DA endorser would require speaking to @Kipper, but he seems rather inactive. We would of course direct any current and future membership to joining the DA.
Edit2:
If this theory is true, it could help along this research. Is anyone currently working with Lerasium spikes?

Pretty much just the title. I was wondering what you guys thought, since it seems like it's definitely the most not-child friendly thing he's written. Also, I want to say sorry if anyone thought from the title I was talking about how good the book was. That wasn't what I meant.

Ooh, this looks good. I've only participated in RP's on one other forum, but I enjoyed it and the format was very similar to this. Just to be clear, this makes certain assumptions about the Cosmere. If you disagree with something I say, please let me know! Also, how much will I have to read to get the gist of the story so far? It doesn't matter that much, I'm just curious.
Full name: Arah Arvish (Real name)
Investiture: Pinnacle ferring.
Nationality of the cosmere: Threnody.
Height: 5'11"
Age: 27
Hair color: Deep black
Eye color: Sea Green
Heroic history: Not heroic per se, but it is certainly a history. She was born on Threnody as a slave silver miner and forger. However horrible it was, she new that she would have to bide her time if she wanted to escape. Eventually, her opportunity came, and she stabbed her slaver with his own knife. Eventually she made her way to the Forest's of Hell, where she made a living for herself in a bar serving as a waitress. Again however, she was only biding her time until better opportunities, and eventually, one came. She caught a Slider using his abilities, and begged him to teach her. Eventually he gave in, and introduced himself as a Scadrian Pinnacle and Slider (explaining relevant Cosmere theory) stuck on Threnody until he can access a perpendicularity. He became her mentor, and many years later they managed to get into Shadesmar. After learning becoming a hemalurgic expert, she spiked out the Pinnacle in her master, although she expected to also be able to get the Slider ability. Her goals are now to become as powerful as possible through any means possible. Right now, that means finding another magic system to receive or spike out of someone.
Personality: Very driven, which is why she can afford to constantly store determination. She is unafraid almost everything. She believes in doing anything to get her way.
What brought your character here?: Seeking an opportunity, no matter what it is.

Good. You may notice your name in the member list. This means you are now the property of the Liebrary.

I'll join. This is my first one, but I think I understand it. Knowing my typical Mafia luck, I'm sure I'll be a citizen. My character is Amati, who is a farmer. Might role-play more depending on what happens.
