  1. If a person with skybreakers attributes got an Edhedancer dead blade would he be able to awaken the blade? I think not so I think the only way Adolin awakens the blade is if he shows attributes that Edhedancer spren are attracted to.
  2. So the consensus is I think, warbreaker first, then Mistborn. After that read all of the Sanderson books.
  3. It sounds like the Adolin/ Dalinar topic could get toxic in book 4. I just hope they can sort this out ( over the course of a book or 2) without Adolin completely turning against his dad who he practically worshipped at one time. Though I do think Adolins worship of Dalinar is unhealthy, and he can learn to temper with maybe admiring his accomplishments without idolising him.
  4. I was originally a WOT fan introduced to him through him taking up Robert Jordan series after his death. I chose to read the stormlight archive after tWOT ended to see what he was about. I have since replaced WOT with stormlight as my favorite series. However, it takes years between books and has become abundantly clear that the cosmere has much more to offer than just stormlight. If I were to choose another cosmere based series to get an understanding of it better, which would you recommend.
  5. For radiant to bond spren a piece of their spirit web must be cracked. What if the bond being broken broke a piece of the sprens spirit web so to speak. The person trying to bond them may need an intact spirit web to make the spren whole again.
  6. I think that nothing can be all the way dead and still follow it's corpse arround. Also she summoned in 7 beats in fear of 10 in the end of OB. My theory is that the radiant destroyed the mind and a piece of the souls of their spren in the recreance. Whether or not someone can heal their souls has yet to be seen.
  7. Much like the skybreakers following of the law. Whose laws, and whose interpretation of said laws do you follow?
  8. We do not know any dustbringer oaths that I know of. However, we do know the Herald they are supposed to mimmick and we know her qualities. Brave and obedient do not sound like terrible qualities to have.
  9. Because spren apparently feed off of stormlight it is an odd concept to them. They also apparently can use the ideas or souls of things to create chairs, clothes, etc. In the cognitive realm so literally nothing ever has to be destroyed in their world.
  10. I think the key is getting both to agree to it. Otherwise Odium could trick any poor fool into making a deal. Now that Honor is dead only Bondsmiths can make deals with Odium as they are Honors representatives.
  11. According to Brandon we are only halfway through (chronologically) the cosmere in stormlight. Also, we have seen worldhoppers from different times throughout stormlight. So, I think it is reasonable to say that Jasnah could become a new worldhopper.
  12. I am sure that we have a WOB that all spren are pieces of Honor and cultivation. However, they existed before Honor was shattered. But even with these tiny pieces of investiture Honor was still Honor until he was shattered. So, how much of Honor does Dalinar need to become a shard. Also, I assumed he ascended and owned at least one piece of Honor ( stormfather) if not more at the end of Oathbringer. But sometimes assuming is bad in these books.
  13. This may have been discussed before but definitely not in the pat few pages. When Odium splintered Honor how many splinters were created? I have seen multiple theories of Dalinarbecoming the new Honor, but ofcourse he would have to pickup more than just the Stormfather. I think 10 would be a good number because it is a holy number. BUT it took him forever to pickup one sliver. To pickup 10 to become Honor reincarnated sounds impossible. Where would these slivers be? How accessible are they? Does Dalinar need all 10 (if that's a real number) or could he pick up a few and be considered a new Shard?
