  1. I think that most of the spren were healed. Because the spren were broken by the Knights Radiants abandoning their oaths. The Radiants themselves were chosen for their traits, and their time as radiants make those traits stronger. With their oaths gone they are know powerless, but they will probably still act on these traits that they have lived by for most of their live. Thus, reviving the dead spren, The spren would either leave to comsere, or the Radiamts would not reclaim their power. Also we know from The Ways of Kings or Words of Radiance, that the Nahel Bond can be cancel is both parties want it:(I will add quote if I can find it) Couldn't find the quote from the book But found WoB: There is the chance that the Recreance was only a show, and most of the Radiants called back their blades and canceled the Nahel bond, and the only a few left shards because they knew that more Desolations would come even if they quit there job.
  2. We know there are more than 10 type of sapient spren, but we are assuming, because the same desciptions being given for most of the spren in the spren city, during the Shademar arc, that there are only 10 types of non-void sapient spren. Keenspren could be the spren of Truthwathers because keen means quick to understand(cognitive things) or sharp/penetrating(physical things), but then mistspren would have to be spren to Willshapers, becasue spren named after mist probably are not part of the order who is most known for their mastery of stone. A counter arguemnt could be that mistspren are the spren of Truthwatchers because they let the Truthwatcher see through the metaphorical mist. So that would make lightspren become the spren of the Stonewards, which might fit beucase of their appearance, but they are know to be explorers. If Lightspren were the spren of stonewards, Venli would still fit needed character of emotional/mental strength. We can put the last three spren into any of the three last orders, but the most popular theory is Mistspren - Truthwatchers, Lightspren- Willshapers, and Stonewards -? (probably keenspren).
  3. So I was thinking about other Radiantspren and what we learned about them in Oathbringer, and then I remebered this little line from Edgedancer: So Keenspren, I believe, are one of the radiantspren that we don't yet. There are five types of spren: Object Spren: The voices of the spheres in Shadesmar Emotion/Condition/Nature Spren: Like Anticipationspren, Hungerspren, and Windspren. These spren are bascailly the animals of Shadesmar, and behave as such. Radiantspren: These are the spren of radiants. They populate the cities of Shadesmar and is its civilization. Voidspren: Spren of Odium Unique Spren: Spren of immense power, that also have consciousness, and all have unique names: Stormfather, Nightwatcher, and the Sibling. Wyndle says he made a garden for keenspren, just like he also says he made gardens for honorspren and Cryptics. Which probably means that keenspren are probably radiant spren, unless he made them for animal-like spren. Keenspren are probably not voidspren because voidspren don't mingle with other conscience spren, and they aren't unique spren because unique spren are one of there type. That leaves Keenspren to only be Radiantspren making them the spren of a Radiant order.
  4. If the theory on the thread is correct it doesn't matter because plate is earned on the fourth ideal and That was Dalinar's third. Also I'm not saying that gloryspren are the only splinters of honor, but they are splinters that came post shattering, and the others are splinters pre shattering.
  5. That's a ready great idea, but it doesn't explain why there Soren aren't in shinovar know after meeting the humans
  6. What I was trying ot write was that the splinters of Honor that came from his shattering are the gloryspren.
  7. At the Battle of Thaylenah, when Dalinar accesses Honor's perpendicularity, Gloryspren surged all around him, letting him ascend. So we know for ascension, even temporary ascension, it requires large amounts of investiture, which came partially from having access to Honor's investiture in the spiritual realm through the Stormfather and perpendicularity. But that does not explain why Gloryspren surrounded him and made a pillar of light. The Gloryspren appeared before when he used his powers to repair Thaylenah: The gloryspren saved him from falling to Odium: The Gloryspren are the splinters of Honor. In the above quote the gloryspren wasn't attracted to glory because Dalinar had no glory, but it was still attracted to Dalinar because he had access Honor's perpendicularity and Honor's shadow, the Stormfather. Honor's power is the ability to create bonds, so its only natural that the splinters of Honor would want to come back together when a significant portion, Honor's perpendicularity and shadow, are already connected to each other. Edit: I mean that the Gloryspren are the splinters of Honor that formed Honor before Odium shattered him. So Odium shattered Honor, and then those splinters became gloryspren.
  8. If I awaken an object, by an illusion made from investiture, will the awakening process drain the illusion?
  9. Can you awaken wounds, and then command them to heal?
  10. Isn't the rule is that any magic system can use any version of investiture, like is a surgebinder have breaths, then they could use the breaths as replacement to stormlight, and vice versa.
  11. But what is brandon's explanation?
