  1. What I have been doing, is if there is an obvious alliance between people, I will not discuss who I am spying in that Doc. for instance, the obvious example is the parshendi. If I wanted to item spy on Eshonai, I would not say so in any doc with Venli or Klade. There are other groups of people like this, so as a general rule, I think it works. (Just using Eshonai as an example as Amaram already put her name out there.) @SE_Eshonai (just out here for the notification)
  2. Do you have any information on how to destroy the sphere? (If possible). The unmade are legends, they can't really die can they? We obviously dont want to let the unmade out either... So, how do we know that any action we take won't release it into the world? Would it not be safer just to leave it how it is?
  3. Did that complete your wincon? or do you actually need to protect someone being attacked?
  4. As Liss was escorted back into the hall, there was a group of people mumbling to each other blocking the way. Liss couldn't see what the hold up was from here. She looked at Darkness inquisitively, he shrugged as he also couldn't see what was going on. Liss ducked behind the guards and ran through the maze of corridors until she made her way back to the hall through the servant's door. She looked around the hall for whatever was so disturbing to the guests. She saw 1... no, 2... no, many (don't want to count everyone that has been killed since my ostracisation). Liss then saw Navani reading from a list at the head table in front of her. Liss snuck up behind her to read over her shoulder, and her stomach fell. The title was, "Suspects in Gavilar Kholin's murder". And Liss's name was on it. As Liss' cover was apparently blown, she slowly moved towards the other guests. She didn't want anyone to think she was making a run for it, or that she was trying to kill anyone.
  5. Liss strolls back into the palace (after some difficulty getting past the guards), surely enough time has passed by now. She hears Tearim's voice: "Well Tearim, I think you know one person who isn't a suspect." Liss smiles... Then frowns... "Wait, a suspect for what?"
  6. Liss noticed Aesudan shift uncomfortably in her seat after hearing the kings question. She is Alethi nobility after all. Liss was surprised that Gavilar was willing to search the rafters himself anyway. He was the king. He must have meant he wonders who would be willing to search the rafters for him.,, Liss intentionally coughs loudly. But doesn't say anything. Searching the rafters is not beneath her dignity after all...
  7. "Amaram, That is the exact same post you posted before... I believe I addressed your issues. Please either explain yourself or retract your vote to ostracize me." "Do we not have bigger problems, with the person in the rafters? I am here, so you know that person was not me." *I mumble the next part* "I wouldn't have been that obvious anyway"
  8. Quite astute beggar. Forgive me, but you usually don't expect to be corrected in such a... meaningful way from someone drunk at a party. Anyway, yes that is true. Though I try not to antagonize the royalty too much in public. Looks bad on both of us. (Liss idly wonders if she is from a differant country... She can't remember, as it hasn't been specifically stated in the books)
  9. "Brightlady Venli, your confusion in trust is completely understandable. Some never do trust the royalty. However, trust usually comes with the kings actions. If the king works for, and successfully helps his people, they tend to trust him more. If he is corrupt and spends his energy on his advisers rather than his people, his advisers will trust him more at the cost of the people. It is a rather fine line to walk. And I admit, Gavilar is not the worst king in history..."
  10. ... Not guaranteed, He could refuse to vote for himself... Though somehow I don't find that likely : )
  11. I think you misunderstand me. Let me rephrase what I said in my previous post: "Hm, I believe you exaggerate." -this is me responding to Wit. As I believe, he exaggerated this issue. "I told 2 people in Gavilar's court." -These to people are Wit and Adolin. What I told them was the Lie. (I am getting a bit tired of talking about this : ) ) "If something was to be done about it, the proper way of going about it would be to have Gavilar order her thrown out. This could be done discreetly enough not to startle anyone." - This is me RPing what they should have done in world. Nothing to do with game mechanics "We get people trying to escalate the issue to get their own agendas across." -This is me insulting Wit "I am so glad that you are helping to calm down the guests Wit. " - This is me insulting Wit again "Honestly, we are both escalating this issue at the moment... Would you accept a white flag? " - This is me, trying to admit my own fault, and trying to calm down the situation? If any of this does not resolve whatever misunderstanding there was, I will be quite surprised...
  12. Yeah, you wish Wit. With the chulls tearing up the place... Lol Hm, I believe you exaggerate. I told 2 people in Gavilar's court. If something was to be done about it, the proper way of going about it would be to have Gavilar order her thrown out. This could be done discreetly enough not to startle anyone. Instead what happens? We get people trying to escalate the issue to get their own agendas across. I am so glad that you are helping to calm down the guests Wit. Honestly, we are both escalating this issue at the moment... Would you accept a white flag?
  13. @SE_Wit I admit that you version of events (though slightly less summarized ) is far more accurate than I assumed you would post. However, you got one thing wrong. Aesudan did not reveal that I lied (unless you read her post first. In that case, she did). But I revealed that I lied to try and fix this whole mess. I can go back and check, but I am pretty sure I revealed my lie before Aesudan. @SE_Klade, Imagine how Gavilar must feel... This is his castle after all...
  14. "alright then, why don't we have the @SE_Madman (@SE_Wit) tell us what just happened then? At least then we will know what not to believe." I realized this post may seem rather aggressive, I OOC have no ill feelings toward Wit. In character, I am rather frustrated... (he is doing his job quite well )
  15. "I apologize, @SE_Gavilar_Kholin, for creating a misleading summary of events. That was not my intention. How would you summarize it?"
  16. Renarin, Welcome! So basically, to summarize: There was a rumor that Adolin wanted to kill Sadeas, but he was actually trying to kill Dalinar. Then Adolin tried to redirect the mob onto Aesudan by saying she was trying to kill Klade. (I told him that earlier) The mob turned on her, so I stepped up and pointed out that I was lying to Adolin (and Wit), when I said that Aesudan tried to kill Klade. Then it basically became a brawl between who was going to be ostracized, Adolin (for trying to murder people) or me (For lying). Did I do a decent job summarizing, @SE_Gavilar_Kholin? (Oh, he isn't reading this thread anymore... ) This is a VERY summarized version of events... lol. (might also be slightly biased towards me... but I don't think so...)
  17. Correction, Wit. I lied to you! That is why you are upset. I could lie to whoever I want and you wouldn't care. @SE_Ialai_Sadeas Wit would, "would watch this world fall apart if it was to reach his goals".
  18. *Sigh*... There is a difference between plotting and preparing for the worst.
  19. "My intentions were not to kill her... Just make it easier to find allies in case I decided to persue that route... There is a huge distinction there..." "Though... Wit... Do you really like anyone here?"
  20. When the celebration first started, I was approached by Aesudan. We came to an agreement of espionage. She and I would collaborate to spy on each other, as it would satisfy both of our wincons. That would have taken place over the last turn, and then this one. However, we were not able to completely agree on the details of the arrangement. So we went and found other people to assist us. I found Wit and Adolin. I spied on Aesudan and saw that she spied on me at the same time. I, however, got the impression from our conversations, that she was working with a group that I was nervous about. So I created the rumor that she had attacked Klade, as I thought (apparently rightly so), that that would anger enough people to get her ostracized. I, however, expected to be able to control that rumor. I was obviously incorrect. Then Adolin asked Wit and me to attack @SE_Dalinar_Kholin . I do not know how the rumor that he was attempting to attack Sadeas got out... I am sorry Sadeas, but it seems you have not caught the person targetting you. I claim full responsibility for this confusion.
  21. Liss started laug... I mean, coughing violently. "That sounds like a wonderful idea, your majesty... ... ...and Wit." She mumbles the last words. And dashes off to find something in the palace that would be... Suitable. Liss heard Sadeas start to give an announcement. She continued on as it wouldn't have anything to do with her... She kept walking... Then stopped in her tracks, and slowly turned around.
  22. I am flattered! If you are merely "competent" compared to me, I must be competent compared to average folk. As you said "How competent" previously. Implying that you are more than competent in general. You wonder if... What is spreading to you? The simple mindedness, or the weeds? *Cocks an eyebrow*
