You were in godmode uce! Greatness On a Different level! Same icl. Just is so nice to have a game that's genuinely refreshing and breaking through the "what have I not seen/done" cynicism for Tyrian AGs. Actually it's funnier than that: Ocho broke the tie, Flam re-created it (but brought Iguana into contention), then I went "screw it" and broke the tie for good. And I only did that because I completely missed your edit while we were talking (you told me to stay put because the tie was broken.) Nah that's good work. Alb was your greencheck, I too would just give my greencheck everything because they're the one guy I can solidly trust in this game. I kind of doubt it but that's mostly because a few people weren't guessing me correctly and that guy seemed to be a really popular candidate for who people thought I was... -

Lol. I understand the paranoia, especially in a set-up like this, it's why I always advocate for tiered PoE, it's just that my dirty secret was that I was so busy/tired for this game that past the Night 1 PoE attempt I just had no notes, only really loose brackets in my head that increasingly became: "Ok I am willing to rexamine anyone not Beagle or Dragonfly" particularly by D3. I have played a deepwolf before yeah, out of necessity, it's just not my favoured play niche. Oh yeah, @Oxblood Beagle, @Plum Rhinoceros, @Taupe Gecko, @Ivory Dragonfly Particular pleasure working with you fellas. Always nice to have people willing to rethink an exe multiple times together with you before rollover Special shoutout to @Opal Lion and @Pearl Chameleon - I think you both got thrown into a thankless situation and appreciate you showing up to discuss and with insights. And great job and well played to the Elims, but in particular @Melon Dingo because holy cripes you were not kidding, your plan would've been satanically demonic if it'd worked. Everyone was so honest (Well, I did lie a bit but in my defence, I was paranoiding.) To be honest I think I don't know most of the game and didn't really try. Zebra was pretty obvious to me, as was Weasel, but I think Zebra was the only guy who I had a read off on that basis. Everyone else was just /shrug territory which kinda dovetailed with my resolve to just play the game. I did have guesses for you, Ivory, Rhino, and Albatross but they get blurry over time, but I was never very good at guessing people so that tracks -

I kinda expected they'd thunderdome yes and wasn't looking forward to sorting through them ngl I do think it's funny we broke our collective brains on this distro and in the end it really is 4 v!Lurchers, 2 v!Coinshots, 3 e!Seekers. Genuinely surprised the rollover exe crew somehow managed to avoid all the ML bait that was being laid in our path All of us: "IT MUST BE BALANCED SOMEHOW!" Jo, TUM: "It is, you just can't see it " I actually understand you on this because I mistook Gecko for Dingo -

Not really actually. I do remember getting fooled by Rae in AG4 though Getting kill prioritised because of him (?) is mildly alarming but I did know I was going to be in for it once Gecko sent me a PM accusing me of being him lmao. I really meant to stick to the RPing more but week-long killer research paper just sapped all my energy/will to do it, so c'est comme ça. Excellent taste in songs good sir! how do u think i feel uce malfeasance it is! no but i enjoyed ur thoughts & i meant what i said: it's nice to genuinely be surprised/taken aback by the distro not modelling what happens if a v!kandra steals a seeker role is an understandable oversight (in that i've sometimes failed to check for breaks from the POV of a specific faction) but uhhhh ouch bruv, ouch who kel? genuinely curious tbh -

No. Why would I be? Good work understanding it Edited to add: @Melon Dingo - Wrt your answer, yeah I def get it. But I saw Gecko's OG suggestion and I'm in agreement with you that if he'd committed to doing it, we'd have a problem, yeah, and that was not a play I was down for. -

Interesting that Elims making Kas guesses for Heron. It's a very risky guess with this account, given the history of players tied to it (tldr; it had at least one Kas impersonator for one AG.) -

Hey, my gen actually says 42069 now so I was duly punished! Just...you know. It's a Tyrian AG, it's the one ruleset that always punishes you for distro assumptions, I think that's why it felt very dangerous to make that assumption and I didn't like how everyone was pushing for it and my instinct was to slow it down. Like I agreed Cham was right I was dodging the problem, I just could not for the life of me explain why I felt that way that it was a trap So basically pivoting off you is good for the Village! But yes sorry my bad, half the Village kept insisting we gotta exe you and I was so tired and struggling with RL stuff on D2 I was very nearly like "ah screw it maybe they right." I'm sorry, but you were right about the rollover exe crew, I have no idea what we were all on -

FWIW I was 24th generation, I lied in a group PM Gecko made then stuck with the lie because, you know, consistency. (I lied because I wasn't sure if one of them was a deepwolf and figured I'd like that card up my sleeve so I picked a big and funny number so any of them if E would probably think I had nothing.) And then because I slandered them, Jo and TUM changed my generation to 42069th in my GM PM and said every other kandra's gen number changed to maintain order, so I was irrationally scared for a bit that Flam had acquired a number that would get them sussed for nothing, but also said nothing at first so I could verify if Flam really was a kandra or not -

I'm not actually sure it's a statement about balance, it's just...Whoa. I think my instincts just said the 4 Lurcher / 2 CS mystery were generally ML traps to avoid, and I couldn't fully justify it but my brain kept going back to "this doesn't make sense" despite what everyone was saying about balance which is where I wondered about Lion and Cham and then we started looking at Dingo / Flam worlds. But also holy hell we were converging on Dingo. The rollover exe crew is truly insane -

Why are you asking Dingo to go rescan himself. Thunderdome is because if Dingo+Zebra and Flam+Toucan worlds are mutually exclusive and one of them is E, they'll accuse each other the next day and then we get the joy of trying to decide which of them is actually lying. For clarity's sake I have sent in the orders to eat Meerkat regardless, since we are not holding my whateverwewannacallthat in reserve. I'm telling y'all the more y'all ping with different orders the more people are gonna get confused and start sending in weird stuff. Thank God my order is simple I am refusing to eat Croc. Fair. I think some of it is a plausibility thought wrt the likelihood of Dingo having encountered a Smoker. I'm trying to see how this might gel with their behaviour - or not. -

food doesn't pass customs edit: apparently they don't approve of eating people Edited to add 2: ...bro... Seekers already scanned them... if we think they are evil there is nothing to scan because the two Seekers are hardly gonna change their minds on a rescan... (There's a world you ask Flam to scan Zebra and Dingo to scan Toucan, but good luck with that, and also we might just get one hell of a thunderdome the next day.) -

Does Croc fit into that? 'Cause that's what I'm curious about. I go back to what Ele said D1 where I sided with him a bit, that actually as an Elim in a Tyrian game, you kind of don't want to draw too much attention to yourself if your team spawns without Smokers because if you get scanned, you're just dead. I recall AG...IDK, 9 maybe? having Elims with no Smokers either but seem to recall Archer still played a thread control niche there, maybe less pronounced though. That was the one the Village had a Coinshot and the Elims had way too many Lurchers/Thugs/proteccs, and TUM suffered through it as an Elim in that game Though come to think of it, maybe it accounts for the distancing levels you and Rhino observed? -

If it's a lone Sab CS, they kinda gotta choose between E!kill or CS!shot anyway. Actions economy. I struggle a little with a 6 Elim world with a Coinshot, but then again we feel like they gotta have a Lurcher no matter what, right? Hey weird question for you. Suppose you're an Elim. Your team has two Seekers and no Smokers. You learn there are no Tineyes because PMs are closed. What's your approach to the thread/D1? -
AN12 - Night Three: Guilty of Murder
Mint Heron replied to The Unknown Medallion's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Lmao. Not wrong though. DF's crack theory is that Cham might be the missing Smoker, or rather points to Cham's brief activity period before new Cham came along. I am not as sure about it but my thought is actually in the vicinity of "I agree with Rhino (uh-oh) slightly more than I agree with Weasel and so I am more inclined to search for an Evil or missing Lurcher before a Coinshot because I think it is plausible both are Village." My problem is my degree is in Thuganomics, not Distronomics. Edited to add: I guess I just think... like... I agree with Cham on the pragmatics of resolving the Coinshots first, I just also for whatever reason, perhaps because this is a Tyrian AG, feel like the Coinshots are the trap we're meant to fixate on and say is impossible and role-exe our way through and I'm not sure that's the correct take. Maybe sometimes a cigar is just a cigar and the balance of power really doesn't work out. I don't know. I know people feel strongly about which way to slice this constellation but I still low-key think there's something we might not be seeing that makes it work. -

I mean the only problem with chasing deepwolf worlds too early is you potentially end up helping the Elims kill through people who really should be cleared so yeah while I'm alive I'm trying to keep some PoE discipline. I just think there's a world where as Cham points out, chasing him and Lion is technically refusing to confront the problem, which is true, I just also think there's an escape hatch there I can't satisfactorily resolve. (And Dragonfly's crack theory kiiiiiind of doesn't sound too bad either.) I think if they do we're going to have a lot of paranoia tomorrow, true. It's maybe the worst world because it doesn't give us much more to go on, but that's kind of what's happening at this point and it's not something I can change apart from having pinged them all and asking them to try to avoid collision. Toucan and Octo shooting the same target is really not the worst world all things considered (compared to Seeker-Coinshot collision) because at least the GMs will tell us there were two separate shots fired. -

Listen My one concession to sanity is I still have tiered blocs in my head and I'm refusing to paranoid you, Dragonfly, and whoever tf I put in there which I need to recheck against my notes. At some point I'm sure I'll just paranoid everyone regardless, the key is to not overdo it and to not commit to it until I've cleared the lower tiers and the game hasn't ended or I'm somehow still not dead. I do think we have in general outlined...whatever is screwy with the CS-Lurcher bloc, since the Zebra solve always implicates Dingo and Toucan always implicates Flam. The real hope is just that tomorrow we get something useful and hopefully the Coinshots and Seekers don't collide (which is why I was asking potentially for a no shot but think they do want to shoot, so fairs.) I appreciate the effort Lion and Cham are putting in, I just cannot move past the fact I do not have much data for them at all, and as much as I like the posts, reading them at this point is like a D1 read. It feels ungrateful to still have them this low in PoE ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Edited to add: Actual answer: I can kind of see that, but I would probably also be a lot more aggressive about it if Zebra was in danger, and arguably Zebra wasn't a lead train at that point. ...........I have been told that during a previous AG, I may have been hissing and snapping at anyone who remotely dared to side-eye my one (1) Villager scan who just happened to be the most suspicious person from D1 -

No, rather: Dingo v!read Croc on D1. Not mentioning during D2 is understandable because Croc is dead by then regardless. Though I am looking through again and Dingo does mention sus of Croc by N1, so I think @Opal Lion might've missed this, but also anyway I am very in principle strongly opposed to skipping tiered PoE and hero shots. I'm curious about how Croc's vote ends up being sus here though because: ? How's he get to this though? -

Edited to add: Tbh this is a good catch @Oxblood Beagle @Plum Rhinoceros (hi rollover crew!) The only issue is I am not so brave enough to ask for a random Coinshot smite without systematically going through, but yeah, Lion has a point here.
