    Ilvaite moved with her, trying to hide from all the newcomers simultaneously. Obsidian grinned and shook Elrin's hand. He laughed. "Wait a minute," remarked Obsidian. "I thought I was the laundry person?" He thought wistfully of socks. "I can eat the goop, if you prefer," offered Obsidian.

    Ilvaite floated to hide behind Elrin, peeking out at the newcomers. "Greetings, Elrin," replied Obsidian, extending a hand to shake.

    Silver nodded. Replicating this world's magic system in another world would pose an intriguing challenge, but it was one he could worry about at a later date. "So," he asked. "What's the catch? It can't be as easy as just waltzing up the mountain and grabbing the Moonsuckle, surely?"

    "Huh," Silver replied. "I was wondering why people weren't revolting in the streets over the government confiscation. I guess that answers that." "We could take some seeds and grow them on a mountain in a different world, though, right?" Silver looked thoughtful. "Seems like it could be useful in a lot of situations, being able to look into the past..."
