    Didn't Taln say that Kalak would teach them to cast bronze? If so he must have been referring to melting down bronze and casting it rather than Soulcasting, as Kalak doesnt have acces ro the Transformation surge. I dont have my books with me to double check.

    - The final battle at Emond's Field. - Every Egwene scene during the Seanchan attack on the White tower. Particularly her standing in front of the hole in the wall of the tower, blasting To'Raken out of the sky. - Mat sparring against both Gawyn and Galad while barely able to stand, and beating them both. Reading this thread makes me want to do one final read through...

    I thought it was an interesting choice to have Hoid bond with a Cryptic (assuming he does indeed form a Nahel bond with it), since he already has access to the Yolish version of Lightweaving. I don't know if much is know about the Yolish type or even if it requires Investiture to use, but maybe the Roshar type will be easier for him to use with easy access to Stormlight. Either way, Soulcasting is definitely going to be useful.
