  1. Tough, but without metalminds I would give it to the Elantrian. The Elantrian's magic would resist emotional allomancy, and the Dor is just ridiculous. This ison top of good hand to hand combat skills. The only problem with this is that it's Luthadel, so the Elantrian wouldn't have magic ;). The Setting: Shattered Plains Fighter 1: The Blackthorn (During he and his brothers conquest), Shardblade/Shardplate, and Ryshadium Fighter 2: Era 1 Koloss
  2. What many people have speculated is that these spren are what form a Radiants Shardplate. Each order appears to have a connect "Lesser" spren, like Windrunners and Windspren, Edgedancers and Lifespren, Lightweavers and Creation Spren. When Kaladin was in Shadesmar we see hundreds of Windspren form almost a frame around him, (The airbending thing was probably just adhesion), we see something similar with Jasnah at Thaylenah, and it's an all around good theory.
  3. I wanted more Vasher Zahel. I especially wanted to see his reaction to Szeth walking into Urithiru with Nightblood. I want that interaction really badly.
  4. Why are Liespren called Cryptics? Calculus Edit: Too real?
  5. What does the Nightwatcher say when she can't comprehend a boon? I'm stumped
  6. What's the #1 hit in Alethkar? Thriller
  7. *Walks slowly on to the the stage* *pauses* *Picks up mic* Ahem... Capricious *Drops mic*
  8. Why doesn't anyone like Edgedancers? They're too abrasive.
  9. Why are Windrunners such good people? They adhere to their oaths.
  10. Do you use some sort of program to create your artworks? I'm trying to get into stuff like this, but right now I'm just pencil and paper.
  11. Both MrT and Szeth will cause some, eh, reactions...
  12. Kaladin: Self-Pitying Moash: *psychotic growling* Dalinar: Unity Gavilar: Handing-out-voidlight-like-candy Shallan: Messed Szeth: ... Hoid: Yeah...
  13. The question is spren of what?
  14. Another interesting thing is the "Nicknames" we know them for Ashertmarn (Heart of the Revel), Yelig-Nar (Blightwind), Re-Shephir (Midnight Mother), Sja-Anat (Taker of Secrets), Chemoarish (The Dustmother) and Dai-Gonarthis (The Black Fisher). The ones we don't know are Nergaoul, Moelach, and Ba-Ado-Mishram We do however have a nickname given by Jezrien, which is "The Faceless" Take this along with the Cusicesh is an unmade theory (Which makes sense due to the changing face thing) and we are left confused. Building upon your Unmade in charge of Iri this makes sense as Cusicesh is in the middle of Iri. The main problem with this is which Unmade would it be? BAM is in a gem, Nergaoul is in a gem, Moelach is moving around, and all the others have their nicknames. However it has been stated that one of the Unmade may have been through passage of time and mixing of culture and lore may have been split into 2 separate entities, even though there was only ever one unmade. I propose that Cusicesh is Dai-Gonarthis and is know as "The Black Fisher" AND "The Faceless" and through time has been separated into 2 entities in the mind of the people.
  15. From the album: Way of Kings Sketches

I did this in the space of 2 days, completely freehand, combining multiple different shardplate ideas into this.

    Way of Kings Sketches

I'm making this to have a place to compile my future projects. The first is Shardplate, and I'm halfway done with a Chasmfiend.
  17. Kinda... The Thrill is red right? So Co - Opting shards magic? Not really Brandon has said that A. There were spren before the shards came to Roshar and B. Non-Sapient are mostly connected to Cultivation. And all spren are connected to the 3 Rosharan shards except Radiant Spren (Cultivation and Honor) and Voidspren (Odium)
  18. Brandon and Peter have discussed this quite a bit, but aluminum CAN be cut with a Shardblade. Not as easily due to the investiture block, but past the Shardblade's magic cutting it is still a REALLY sharp sword. Glass or Obsidian would be ruined immediately, and my point with the meat shield is that it would be hard to attack Kaladin while holding some rando at knife point.
  19. Why is this thread still a thing at 2,210 replies, 89 pages, and too many views to count...
  20. GLASS DAGGERS!!! Kaladin would break this within the first few seconds of the fight, and using a nearby person as a shield makes it very hard for Kelsier to fight. As for range, Kal has lashings which could overpower any steelpush, because it doesn't rely on weight Pre-death Kelsier would LOSE in a fight, he would only win by murdering Kaladin in his sleep Resurrected Kelsier however is OP as damnation
  21. You've inspired me to write a Limerick Moash, son of chull Your head must have a steel hull You betrayed your friends For real stupid ends How thick is your storming skull!
  22. Interesting concept. How would steel pushes/iron pulls work against lashings? Because a lashing is literally manipulating gravity. I'm sure that it would work but the way the forces work would confuse the heck out of a Mistborn. Also with ranged attacks... Kaladin can turn Syl into anything A.K.A. throwing knife or bow or ranged things, also LASHINGS Kelsier shoots crap at Kal and he can shoot it back, and if Kelsier pushes back HE WILL LOSE. Lashings don't rely on weight, just shove a bunch of lashings on something being pushed and it would cause anyone fighting him to SLAM into the ground.
  23. *cough* Ahem! There ya go
  24. Hoid. Everything he does can and will amuse me. Just him, lounging on a rock talking to a Dysian Aimian, waiting for Jasnah, thinking aloud
  25. I have depression so.....
