  1. How long? I mean time is a fairly relative thing. What is long for some is short for others. Define length.
  2. I'm back Ya'll!! Yay Shard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. "I see the hesitation in your eyes. You wonder how it could be so easy. Fox, It is not so easy. Doubt exists within me. I'm, but an echo. Nath though is a better reader of souls than I ever was. I love him and trust him. I can see in you myself. I know why he gave you the knife. Doubt me. You would be foolish not to think it all so convenient. I have learned much in my eons of life. Let my actions speak for me. Those who love you will never reject you. If you are rejected then it is by those who never cared for you. They expose their weakness. It is never easy to admit your struggle. However, your struggle will be your strength. It will make you far mightier than those who stand against you."
  4. @DramaQueen "Feed me Seymour."
  5. Rish is unfazed by the forceful question. "He will be brought before those of us who would judge him for his crimes. I myself will go and attempt to undo all of the barn that he has caused. There are other crimes as well. I will help you reach your potential. Of you wish you can help undo that which was done."
  6. Rish does not react. Not a hair falls out of place as she considers the questions. "Nathrangking did indeed free a prisoner from the prison which lies at the heart of all minscapes. His actions caused the gates to come crashing down and all of that place were freed to sow chaos. I will see him brought to justice for betraying his oaths."
  7. Rish pauses. She nods. "Ask. I will answer you as best as I am able." Circestran sighs and shakes her head. "I thought as you did. In the short term you allow yourself to hurt, but in the long term those who care for you are made to hurt even more. Those who care would take part of this burden." She pauses and fixes Fox in a gaze which transmits an ocean of pure unsullied love. "To hurt with you is a way of showing true love. Denying them this does not protect them. It robs them of the ability to show you that you are are not alone. The pain whispers lies in your ear Fox. It tells you that you are weak for sharing your pain. It says this because it is afraid. It fears that you will defeat it. It uses every tool to trap you. It becomes a prison of gold. It looks luxurious, but in the end you are still trapped. Alone the pain becomes your soul friend. Every word becomes a truth to you. However, the truth is that you are the mistress of your pain. You are its ruler. It is your slave. When you walk with others the pain is trapped by you." A tear runs down Circestran's face. "It took me so long to learn. I thought that I would never learn."

  9. Rish nods. "I should have known that you would be curious about the mysteries of this mindscape. My son was to have kept you from trouble. I will have words with him later. I think it is time to begin to harness your potential. What do you know about mindscapes?" Mita nods. "The answers that you seek will not be found here. It is easy to be lost for eternity in these halls. If you desire to leave tell me. I can send you wherever you wish to go. Explore if you wish. Be cautious this is a dangerous place. Call my name if you wish to go and I will appear." Circestran frowns. "What troubles you? I cannot divulge your secrets you know. So much has happened that I do not know though this tells me a great deal." She motions toward the mindscape. "I do not know if we ever had children. I do know though that if I had a daughter she would have been a survivor like you. You are strong. Holding in your pain will not make you strong. Nath showed me that it eats away at you. It becomes your master. You become little more than a slave who is forever feeding it. Eventually you lose all sense of self. The pain becomes who you are."
  10. Circesran smiles brightly again. A wall of warmth radiates from her. Like flares in the night the emotion flies forth filling the air with its power. She nods. "It was. We met many other times on the field of battle and despite my skill I could never beat him. I always ran and he let me go." The room shatters. The three of them appear in a vast library with books extending into eternity. Rish stands before them patiently. "Mes and Met you may go." The two women vanish. Rish and Vapor are alone in a comfortable silence. "I trust that your rooms were comfortable."
  11. If you desire I'll tell you what it is.
  12. The air shimmers brightly and then returns to normal. "You have made an unbreakable oath. Know this that that which is said shall remain here. I, the echo formerly Cersestran swear by the ancient gods to divulge to none any of the words that pass between us." Once again the air glows and then returns to it's previous state. "I had spent several eons as a hunter of deities, humans, and infernal beings. Worlds had bowed before me. I took brutal vengeance on those who incurred my wrath. Shuva was a realm populated by spirit, humans, demons, and minor deities who were exiled due to their errant natures. I went too far. This world may have not have been loved by my cousins . However, they would not stand by and watch me enslave fellow deities. They feared that I would come for them. Given time I might have. Blood saturated the earth and smoke choked the air. Armies were slain by my hand alone. My kin sent their mightiest warrior. They were desperate. I don't know that they thought that I could be stopped. He appeared to me above the field. I had heard rumor f him, but never before had we crossed blades. I fully expected him to be dead upon the field as soon as the battle began. He fought me to a stalemate. I fled the field, but he had my grudging respect. He was the very first who had ever been able to match me in combat." "My cousin Ovyidonteraph. He is the god of divination. In his hand is the power to find what you seek." Mes and Met separate. "Step in between us and hold on to our shoulders."
  13. 'Mita stay with our guests. We will escort her to mother." Mes and Met motion Vapor forward to join them. Their twin aura's cause the air to crackle and seemingly warp unnaturally around them. Emotion does not appear to exist within them. For a moment Circestran's body goes tense, but then it is gone. She relaxes in her chair. A smile that could chase away the the darkness of a moonless night appear on her face. "I believe you. Nath's warning about not trusting people's words were true. The way that you spoke earnestly and stood up to me tells me about your convictions. You want to know about the fields of Shuva? First, you must swear by the ancient gods that you will share only that which I allow you to share." "A dangerous thing you seek. Noble, but dangerous. I cannot grant you what you seek. I may know one who can."
  14. @DramaQueen "Whatever Lola wants Lola Gets."
  15. I do indeed . Tis my favorite color. Azure specifically. There is a story to that. The person below me loves twizzlers.
  16. Why do we hold a grudge? The gate is open. I don't remember leaving it open.
  17. Nah. The person below me is Brandon's BFF.
  18. mmmmmmm.... Lies What is the wrong thing to say when you learned the ending of the cosmere?
  19. Mita does not look over at James. "You are a believer in oracles? Tell me mime, what is it that you desire? Some desire wealth and others desire power. Yet others still long for fame or love. I have visited punishment on all of these in my time. I can tell when they are worthy of judicially imposed death. You though, I sense that you want something more noble. If it is within my power I shall grant it, because you and your little stowaway have amused me. "Have they now Mita?" Two voices answer as one. Met and Mes appear side by side. Mes blushes slightly when she sees patch. "Sisters what brings you here?" "Mother is ready for the girl. Is she ready?" Circestran sees the doubt in Fox's eyes. The smile in her eyes dim. "Do you always so doubt your ability to trust? Reach inside yourself and put all else aside. Tell me the truth. Why would you put your life in his hands? If you speak the truth then I will tell you the story that you yearn to hear. You desire to know how I met my husband you crave knowledge which will give you power over us. I may have died, but I will not allow you to do him harm. Understand something even in death I love him more than I ever loved anything else. I would scale the height of the heavens or slay every demonic monstrosity ever sired for a moment more. He taught me many things child. How to love was his greatest lesson of all. An eternity without him would be unbearable. I would bear banishment into eternal torment if I knew that it would protect him. I would not be surprised if I died by his side fighting our enemies. A single tear runs down her face. Be sure that you speak truths. Lies will destroy you as they nearly did me."
  20. It has been a long time, but I want in on the next competition!
  21. Indeed. The person below me knows the answer to the unspoken question.
  22. Internally Circestran chuckles. "However, you would not be interested in that. It was so long ago. Why do you trust Nath? What make you trust him with your life?" Mita lounges in his throne. There is something almost childish in the way that he holds himself. An overwhelming wave of pride rolls off of him saturating the room with it's power. With a thought his clothes repair themselves.
  23. Circestran gazes into Fox's eyes as she speaks. She searches for something. Nothing remains hidden from her sight. Nothing, but the tale and the soul before her matters. "I had quite a temper in my youth. I lashed out. Anyone who angered me would inevitably be destroyed. Worlds, kingdoms, and realms fell before me. None could stop me. My nieces and nephews, the ancient gods, did not desire to incur my wrath and so they did not move against me. Everything was mine to take. For eons I ran from my pain and accepted it as being what I deserved. Everything changed at the battle of Shuva. I had gone to far and this time there was to be a reckoning." Circestran pauses.
  24. "You shrink back from the truth child. Why? I believe that you don't truly desire to be untruthful. Nath saved me you know. I believe that he did something similar alone.I ran for eons. I felt unloved until I met him. More than once I even tried to kill him. Our first meeting was on a battlefield. We were on opposite sides."
