  1. I appreciate your analysis. I'm sorry to hear the book didn't land for you in regard to your profession and it's representation. I do have a question though. Were you ever or have you become the perfect therapist? Not to derail your valid and justified points, and I'm no therapist, but Kaladin is at the start of his journey as a therapist. He isn't going to have a complex understanding about therapy or what it means to be a therapist. He is running off the notion that Wit gave him. Kaladin appears to be Roshar's first therapist. If the general overall consensus you got of mental health messaging in the book was underwhelming or not as deep as previous books I totally get that but I've never known anyone in any profession naturally doing all a jobs tasks expertly within the first year let alone a couple weeks.
