Not sure if somebody else has pointed this out but the speculative Veden numbers are definitely wrong. We know from Shallan's flashbacks in WoR that at first Heleran is referred to as Nan Helaran (WoR Pg 269, ln 3) and Balat is referred to as Tet Balat (WoR pg 269, ln 5). Before Helaran is presumed dead, Jushu is called Van Jushu, and she says he's her fourth brother, the youngest (WoR pg 336, ln 20). 'Four years ago', Balat has become Nan Balat 'as if he were the oldest', as Helaran is presumed dead (WoR pg 451, ln 29). We know that Wikim is older than Jushu (WoR pg 454, ln 36), and after Balat becomes Nan Balat we know Jushu becomes Asha Jushu and Wikim becomes Tet Wikim (WoK pg 174, ln 33). All of this means the oldest son is Nan ___ , then Tet, then Asha, then Van. Assuming OP is correct and Nan lines up with Nan, the number 2 in Alethi, Tet would be 3 and Asha 4, not the other way around. TLDR: In your numerals translation in Veden the number 3 should be Tet, not Asha, and 4 should be Asha, not Tet.

It specifically says in the prologue that the statue she uses is Talenelat'Elin, Herald of War. Interestingly, Jasnah definitely goes down the hallway before Szeth (she sees him setting up for the Parshendi drummers, before he goes to kill Gavilar), but on his way to kill Gavilar he looks at the statues and specifically sees that Talenelat is there and Shalash is not. So where is Shalash? Did Talenelat simple go back to his place as a statue after the fight? As a side note, it is interesting that the Herald who defends Jasnah in this fight is Taln, the one they abandoned. He is also primarily Dependable, so it is interesting that he is the only Herald to not abandon mankind (not that he was given the choice).

We also know that the Parshmen are allowed to dispose of their own dead, and they are wrapped in white linen and left on stone slabs. The Parshendi on the battle field are also left on stone. The Shin find stone holy (Urithiru being the one place it is acceptable to walk on stone). Could it have something to do with this. So much of the planet is stone, it has to mean something.

It seems like trying to put the first part of the prophecy in place as any one event is wrong. I think it's about the love of men as a whole. In the end of WoR, Hoid says that God is in the hearts of men I think it's more like that. I think saying it's Shallan and her father or Renarin or Ameram is taking it too literally. I agree that it's likely something to do with a flashback that we haven't seen, unless we're just barking up the wrong tree entirely.

I find it unlikely that it is the discovery of Stormform. Looking back on the timeline, in I-9, Eshonia reflects that she turned two storms ago, her sister and soldiers turned last storm, and she has two more before the weeping. Now, looking at the Epigraph for Chapter 88 of Words of Radiance and comparing it to the text, we have the dates of every high storm from 1173 09 06 05 until the Everstorm on 1173 10 10 03. This places Eshonai's transformation on 1173 10 02 05. Words of Radience takes place all after 1173 09 04 01, and the date we need (1000 days after the prophecy) would be 1173 06 05 01, or (1000 days before the everstorm) 1171 10 10 03. Kaladin's arrival at the Shattered Plains has been calculated (not by me personally) to be around 1173 07 or 1173 08. This seems more likely. Or could it be when Syl first found him? No, she saw him before he was a slave. The only thing he was doing a month or two before arriving on the shattered plains would be getting there, or his most recent escape attempt. Maybe it has to do with when their bond fully formed? I think it is more likely referring to the 1173 06 05 01 date, as 1171 is before the events of Way of Kings.
