    Hey folks, great game. That's definitely the most active I've ever been in PMs. I'll come back on for some more thoughts later, but great game everyone. Nice playing with a lot of people I'd never gotten a chance to play with before, including the three new players. Great stuff by all of you. Edit: Also should note, it seems I had rather insane luck with lenses... Courier's to start the game, then Windstormer's and Tracker's on D2 and D3.

    I've mentioned to a couple people that this has been kind of a weird game for me with the amount of information I've been gathering/sharing via PMs. However, I think it's been productive. The God King, you seem the most likely elim at this point.

    Elkanah basically claimed Windstormer's lens...although that could be an attempt to mislead again.

    I need to rethink some thing now... OK, say CadCom is the Aydee. Elkanah is claiming Aydee to attempt to take a bullet for a named character (definitely plausible) - whether or not CadCom claimed to Elkanah kind of affects this - this would be Elkanah.village Elkanah was hoping no one would counter claim, either due to the role not existing, someone being inactive, or someone wanting to maintain some level of anonymity - this would be Elkanah.elim Say Elkanah is the Aydee. CadCom didn't notice Elkanah's claim? Odd...but the one possible NAI here. CadCom is trying to divert attention from a named role I don't see a situation where CadCom is an elim here...forcing a 1v1 with the distribution likely 7-2 is not very beneficial to the elims...similarly, I don't think think Elkanah would risk a counter claim. Surprisingly I'm still reading them both as village.

    OK, I don't have a ton to back this up, more of a feeling: Devotary I feel like you're flying under the radar a lot more than normal this game. The one vote you've placed was basically just a clinching vote on the Venture bandwagon. And, that's the first vote.

    OK, so last cycle, everyone voted...right now we have 4/10 votes... (I'm included in the lack of voting...so don't worry, I'm not judging anyone for not voting yet.) Definitely a testament to how well the elims are doing at confusing everyone I'd think. Of the four players with votes, I'm kind of inclined to vote on Striker right now. The interpretation of DeTess's criticism of Kynedath's post is really reading wrong to me. This may be because I agree with DeTess's analysis, but the assertion that DeTess is trying to draw attention away from people rather than make sure that everyone is being analyzed seems like a rather gross misinterpretation. Current votes (based on Devotary's votecount...so hopefully that's correct) Kynedath (1) - DeTess Elkanah (1) - Feru Sky Striker (2) - Elkanah, Rath DeTess (1) - Striker

    I was actually going to thank DeTess for articulating my issue with Kynedath's logic better than I did. In my case, and I'm assuming in DeTess's as well, it's not trying to take eyes off the players who voted on Venture...it's trying to make sure we don't ignore the other 5 players in the game, which is what it seemed Kynedath was advocating for.

    I disagree. First, I don't think it's the Monty Hall problem at all...unless you have more knowledge than you're sharing right now. Second, If that was a V/V lynch, I'd say the third possibility is the least likely.

    You're making a mistake with that assertion that I often make. Look at it this way. We have 10 people remaining in the game, 5 of whom voted on Venture. So, half the players. If we're assuming (which I think is a reasonable assumption) that there were 3 elims to start the game, then we have 2 remaining. Possibilities: 0 elims voted on Venture - we completely whiff on finding an elim 1 elim voted on Venture - we may increase our odds a touch if this is the case since even though the odds of randomly finding an elim are the same, we'll have better scrutiny on the 5 players who voted and potentially be better able to find the elim hiding amongst them. 2 (both) elims voted on Venture - we definitely increase our odds of finding an elim There are various reasons why each of these combinations may have happened...but unless you think Elkanah is an elim, there's no reason to assume one over any of the others...and at that point, that would be a better lynch target than I am. *ninja Elkanah* I think that's it for the moment.

    So, the nice thing about this lynch is pretty much everyone is involved. The not-so-nice thing is that it's a 3-way lynch. I think I'm good with my Venture vote...but I'm still listening.

    Well, the two people I've been thinking most suspicious suspicious are the two vote leaders currently. Not sure how I feel about that, honestly. Kind of validating my views I guess? But also makes me wonder if I'm being manipulated. Edit: Venture

    Hey folks, since it's short cycles and I'm going to be away for a while, I'll give some rather incomplete analysis for people to digest: Elkanah - had a good PM so far (one of the people who has pointed out Kynedath's playstyle as mentioned below) I'll definitely have more to throw out here once I get back out of meetings. Kynedath - haven't played with Kynedath before, but most of my suspicions have been thrown back to me as non-issues/normal gameplay The_God_King Striker CadCom - mostly the same analysis as everyone has already posted...but a bit more about the potential for WGG below Skybreaker Zillah Kidpen Rath - great guy Devotary Venture - kind of showing a few tells I've had mentioned about Rath.elim - focusing a bit on good game play rather than analysis DeTess - always difficult to nail down, especially early. Seems to have a good handle on the rules obviously. Some random multi-player activity: DeTess and Kynedath had a bit of conflict starting to brew D1...they both kind of backed off pretty hard though... Not sure what to think of this. If neither had backed down at all, I'd have had a much more V/V read on the situation. This situation is almost like they didn't want to create the conflict. I'm going to give this a different section, but the WGG play is always a bold, and often useful move to start a game. It's become such an IKYK play at this point that it's almost back to the point where it's extremely effective. (if no one thought of the possibility, it's extremely effective...but once everyone started thinking of it, it became much less effective to the point where people were almost to the point of thinking, "well, the WGG may draw undue attention to the player"...and now that everyone is thinking, "no one would consider doing a WGG because it would draw undue attention to the player", it's kind of just there.) So, how could a WGG happen? (yes, I know most of what I'm going through is fairly obvious...but I may grab something someone else missed...and it'd be nice if anyone points out anything I miss...plus it's nice to just think through these things sometimes) Disguiser's Lens - if CadCom had/used one of these, could have been used to be immune to the kill -counter? If anyone used an oculator's lens, tracker's lens, we'd be able to tell whether this could have happened. As far as I can tell, that's the only WGG possibility unless the elims somehow managed to determine who Bastille was protecting? OK, how about it not being a WGG? Disguider's Lens is still in play CadCom was protected by Bastille CadCom is Grandpa and may live or die next cycle (not sure if we got clarification as to how that would be written up?) CadCom was protected by Bastille via Smedry rule Bastille clearly can't claim at this point...and...I apparently didn't finish this thought before moving back to something else...but yeah, Bastille, definitely don't claim.

    First, just to make my stance clear, I would not support a lynch on Rathmaskal. Next, I apologize for not following up on my promise to get a vote on last night. I pretty much crashed as soon as I got home. Regarding Kynedath's suspicion of me. I understand it's not much, but it would seem a bit sloppy to me to poke vote someone, withdraw as soon as they post, then attack them when I could have easily just left my vote on CadCom and left the potential for a lynch to actually form. (there was no clear lynch target at that time, so the fact that CadCom would have actually had a vote may have made him a valid target) If you did want to throw some suspicion on me, I'd think the fact that I didn't get the vote I promised on would be a bit more damning. That being said, I definitely don't think CadCom is cleared...but it's also quite possible CadCom is a Smedry and was protected, so I don't think he's a valid lynch target today. *ninja...let's see what's going on* Indeed I do. (Mostly what's above) I'll let this sit for a bit as I start actually analyzing other people.

    Actually, do we know that? @Elandera, sorry to keep bombarding you with questions - can anyone else get a benefit out of warrior's lenses? The rules just say what they do when Bastille holds them.

    Well then, I will break the combo here and say I will be getting a vote down D1. Fair to some degree...I think it's at least mildly useful to get some role analysis out early. I know there have been times when I've looked at the roles and thought, "Aha! This is broken, I can win easily!" and I've been pointed out to be oh so wrong. (It's almost as if people put in effort to make sure that the teams are balanced?!) 12 players probably means 3 elims? Quick follow up on Alcatraz ability. If he targets someone with a Courier's lens, does the PM just end? Or can the remaining person pass the lens around to other people still? (If the PM just has players added and removed, this could still be quite useful...) 11pm in which time zone?

    Grreat game everryone. Apparrently I was back to my old habit of lynching (orr trrying to lynch) Lumgol earrly this game. Sorrrry (And sorry, I'll stop with the double Rs now...I definitely caused myself to chuckle every time I went through and inserted those.) Wish I would have been able to get some more RP in, but that's my own fault for not being as active early this game.

    Whew, great job fellow nobles! I have to apologize for disappearing on this game...that stupid 'work' thing kind of got in the way. Got some holiday travel coming up, but I am excited for more games come the start of the new year!
