  1. Okay, you're right, which I'm happy about because i don't even like my own theories. And I didn't even think about how protective Kaladin is, so you're right about that too, but I feel like Adolin and Kaladin are protective in different ways? And my poor boy Adolin
  2. I literally gasped out loud the way i did when i found out shallan killed her own mother
  3. This theory is actually better than mine. I thought Adolin would be odiums chapter but this is much better (plus i love adolin and would hate for him to turn evil)
  4. Yeah, but wouldn't Odium want someone strong? Someone that knows how to fight? (Elhokar would be a good choice). Renarin is a sweetheart, i don't know what would trigger him to turn to Odium - plus, him being a radiant might make him immune to odiums manipulation? Id just guess that at the very end, when Odium is the strongest, he decides to choose Adolin, and lets Adolin act as a spy for a while, only to strike at someone when they're all together. Maybe Adolin attacks Shallan. Oh - also i didn't mean killing the antagonist is a sign of going down an evil path - but he might get weaker mentally because of it - not evil - just weaker etc. Then when hes vulnerable Odium would be able to take control of him? and not with adolins consent. Its NOT what i want to happen though.
  5. Kaladin/Shallan could go the Dalinar/Navani way - Shallan ends up with Adolin, knowing that Kaladin likes her, only for them to end up together when Adolin is dead maybe? (this would mean they'd end up together after the first five books). But Kaladin definitely likes Shallan, as someone else said before, he was knee-wobbling looking at shallan after their time down the chasms. Plus, something else we should consider is that Shallan already dislikes one part of Adolin, the protective part. My theory would be that Adolin, after killing Sadeas would end up in a bad place (mentally) and change as a person. Thats the only way i see Shallan leaving Adolin for Kaladin. Id love to see the story end with Kaladin having a crush on Shallan though, without Shallan knowing. That would be pretty sad though considering the things hes gone through. But i love tragic endings like that
  6. I know this is five years late but, Dalinar is supposed to pick the champion, right? And our best guess is that Kaldin will be our champion. Lets hope dalinar wont have to pick kaladin to fight adolin
  7. Wow thank you! Im going to start reading it now then, for sure! Is it a good cry book? (I love good cry books)
  8. Is it? I have a copy of it, i want to read it, but the fact that the author hasnt released the third book in 6 years is :/ is it as good as people say it is? Whats the best thing about the series?
  9. Welcome! im sort of new here. I still have no clue what cookies are. And i see you became a fan after mistborn! So did i!
  10. Thank you! I finished Words of Radiance yesterday and felt like i had run a marathon afterwards. I can't wait for oathbringer
  11. Reading The Way Of Kings, Dalinar was my favorite, he remindd me of my father, especially the way he teacher Adolin. Reading Words Of Radiance, however, i am stuck between Kaladin and Adolin. Dalinar have been pissing be off slightly with the entire "Trusting Amaram" stuff. Adolins character development have me sighing, he has developed into the perfect hero, and i am so afraid of something happening to him. And Kaladin.. is just Kaladin. How do you not like Kaladin? Sure, him being bitter and petty around lighteyes is slightly irritating but after what he's been through i seriousy don't blame him. My favorite scene has to be either when Adolin walks around the streets in The Way Of Kings, watching the other soldiers, and realising why his father always had made Adolin wear military clothes everywhere. Also, all of Kaladin and Shallans scenes down in the chasms in Words Of Radiance. Theyre hilarious together. And Shallan made kaladin smile. Aw
  12. Thank you! Oh yes i know about the cosmere, just not a lot. I have read the mistborn triology, elantris, warbreaker, the emperors soul and soon both stormlight archive books. Thanks! I am really excited, im almost finished with Words If Radiance and i have been reading all day! Hi Jedal! Thank you for the upvote, i gave you one back!! (You like alternative too? I am really new to it and sleeping at last got me into it)
  13. Thank you! oh no
  14. Heyy everybody! I am 19 years old and i have been reading and admiring Sandersons' books for around two years, but i am not even close to finishing his collection I am very new to this sort of community, I think, Brandon Sanderson is the only author i have ever dared actually follow, because now that i have read a few of his works i have come to trust him. It is funny, youre reading his books and something just comes up, a plot twist, a good quote, an interesting culture, the way he deals with religious conflicts in his books (honestly its the first time i have seen religion been brought up and discussed in such an elegant way in any book, not just fantasy). Yesterday i had to put down the way of kings because i was loving Adolin and Dalinars relationship so much and because it reminded me of the relationship with my father and I Outside of reading, i also enjoy listening to music, mostly alternative (Everyone should listen to Sleeping At Last just once in their life). I am currently on a holiday, which means i study for half of the day and read for the other half. I know four languages (kurdish, english, german and swedish). And thats probably it. That was probably a very long introduction?
  15. From Eden by hozier. His entire album takes me back to summer sunsets and coca cola with friends.
